I mean, he didn't play especially well against Auburn - and that was early season. At what point was he injured? I know he missed the Alabama game and had limited carries against South Carolina but seems like he tailed off before then.

If the oline blocks like they are capable of I think the RBs will gain many yards

I hope he has a monster year. I was surprised at his decline last year kinda thought he and Hill would be a one two punch. I hope he gets what ever it was bothering him last year behind him. I believe he could be a Jerome Bettis type back.

Hillard would have had a monster year with more carries so I would say that if he get's some carries he will be fine. He is just as good as Hill and you are foolish if you think otherwise.

How Does Hilliard Get Back to 2011 Form?

1. Lay off the potatoes and rice. I've heard he's done that, and shed a little weight. Great start there.

2. Reshuffle his priorities. Don't get me wrong - I don't think they were out of whack last year. If I'd have just fathered twins, I doubt I'd be nearly as concerned about what went down on the football field either. In a strange way, I almost view his drop off in production a good thing. I'd be concerned about a guys character if he'd just fathered twins, and it DIDN'T affect his play.

3. Understand that he's needed. It's hard to know if his non-beast mode was attributable solely to the birth of his children, or because he felt like he'd been "left behind" or whatever. Whatever he did before the Auburn as a freshmen - whatever he felt and thought - he needs to feel that/think that again.

Cam calling the plays should help a lot.

I rewatched the SC game recently, and Hilliard had some great runs in that game. Also, Ware was tearing it up to until he got sick, and Hill was put in in his place.

Hill then capitalized on the opportunity, and most people remember Hilliard's failed spin move on the goal line.

Didn't Vincent tear his ACL?

He also partied a lot.

Hilliard, thus far, would not be an accurate comparison.

Pedro obviously hill had the best year. But you can't compare years bc of the major difference in our QB play. Any football mind knows, if you can air it out, the running game becomes a lot more effective. That didnt happen in 2011 with Jefferson nor lee and Kenny still beasted. You know as well as I tht he had off the field issues with twins. Looking at the #'s (career)
hill, blue, and Hilliard, guess which one is which?

ATT.-YDS.-TD

RB 1:
138-910-10

RB 2:
144-800-14

RB 3:
142-755-12
