Obviously, they'll find their guy, but you must say this is a big loss for Alabama. Recruiting-wise and coaching-wise. Excellent get for Georgia!

He has been with Saban a long time

I don't know how much it will hurt them but I can't imagine it helps at all

This might be what we need to get over the hump next year when you look at all of their departures

I agree, losing pretty much their entire lineup PLUS Smart is a huge advantage for us next year.

Easy. You keep the same formula and do the same thing you've been doing, no matter who the new DC is.

It seems to me that, every year, Bama's defense shines brightest when they play LSU. Maybe Kirby Smart has been that "x-factor" for them. Maybe next year we'll blow them out at home... God I hope so, the heart of our team needs that win and needs it to be big!

If we have the same game plan as we did for our 11 games this year, we will get our shite pushed in by bama next year.

Since our offensive game plan fits on a single post-it, they won't have too much trouble.

When you tell a kid "Slow Down!" they don't understand what you mean unless you follow up with "Don't run in the house!"

Explain what you mean, retard.

If they beat us next year, will we still be younger than them?

I am sure Some people will think they won't miss a beat, and they are gonna remain pretty good, but they will take a step back unless the new DC is really good

Smart has been there a long time, and there was a difference between a smart and a steele lead Defense.

Lets hope Saban really needs Steele back.

I know saban denies calling the D, but Saban is a defensive coach. They will be fine, losing Smart isn't crippling when Nick Saban is your coach
