Palmer was upset from the beginning because Musberger brought up the Florida loss in tiger stadium in 1998 when Florida was ranked #1. Palmer was constantly building up SHS and was negative toward the tigers.

8.5 since. Brent said wrong names on occasion and kept saying "much ballyhooed" freshman many times.

Actually made cupcake games enjoyable instead of the middle-school quality production that is Tigervision. Kinda hilarious though that Brent Mustburger goes from announcing the top non-sec game every week on primetime on abc to doing LSU-Sam Houston State.

Really like Palmer, and while I wouldn't go as far as saying Mussberger (sp) sucks, he's just a little ultra dramatic to me.

If musberger would've said "ballyhooed" one more time I was gonna put a shoe through the flat screen

Broadcast team was great but the stadium sounded terrible on tv.

for a sure-bet blow-out nothing game on secn, it was pretty pro. BM is a little creepy but i like the classic broadcast voice.

C'mon dude, 1997. Musberger may be OK when he is not slobbing on USCw vs any B10 opponent. I like Palmer, Canadian and UF guy or not.

I thought they got it right.

I would disagree with the comments about Palmer being irritated after Brent brought up 1997 and the UF loss. Actually, I thought he was very complimentary of "Death Valley" when talking about how hard
it is to win in Baton Rouge.

Did a great job IMO . Definitely give 2 thumbs up to Musburger and Palmer. Definitely between 9.0 and 9.5.

I agree. I have been a big Musberger hater, but he is perfect for the SEC network where he can just gush on and on about how great the SEC is and we can all swoon.

Musburger's always liked LSU. He was the same way calling the game against Virginia Tech in 2007 and that game was on ESPN.

He even said he became a Billy Cannon and LSU fan in 59 after his punt return.

Because USC or Oklahoma was not playing, otherwise Musburger would have been up their arse

The only person I never want to hear comment on a game is Tim Tebow. If SECN allows this I may consider flying in for every home game.
