How do we know Brennan isn't the next Jarrett Lee?

Is everyone forgetting how hyped the fan base was about Lee? Lee was more highly ranked and recruited than Brennan and played against much stiffer opposition . I hope Brennan is great but I just don't understand why everyone is convinced hes the saviour of our program.

No he wasn’t. Pretty close in ranking. Lee was known as a system qb in Brenham with great coaching, but not the arm strength to project to an NFL caliber guy. Brennan has the arm strength and showed out in the elite 11 camps. Their skill sets are not comparable, they are not the same body type, there really is no reason to compare them other than they are white and part of LSU.
