I turned it off at some point in the 4th when i felt like it was over. I went and sprinted around my neighborhood until I almost crapped myself.

Then I got on my computer, saw what had happened, and crapped myself.

It was kids' first LSU football game...see picture below. My son was crying...I cursed once in complete disbelief and lack of control. Normally, my wife we shoot me a look for letting one slip out in front of the kids, but she was even so disgusted as to let it slide! My oldest son was sobbing....then...GLEE!!! I had to organize my troops...my wife and kids were packing up when I saw the referees huddled on the sidelines. WOW!! What a game for my kids' first trip to Death Valley.

Had a wedding in white castle. Ceremony was during the 4th quarter, watched guests check their phones, watch streams etc...

We all knew what happened including the priest, until, during the homily, the limo driver comes running out of the bar screaming "they fricking won anyway!!!!" The ceremony almost stopped, we drank lots of scotch.

I was at the end of my row screaming actual profanities of the pg13 variety.
I was furious.
I was with my nine year old son.
I had previously commented on how glad i was not to be sitting around a bunch of irrational a-holes.
I was in every way like a massengale product.
It was not my finest moment.

quote:

I was at schlitz and giggles on Perkins. I ran outside to throw up, cry, punch myself in the face etc. etc.
Heard someone say there was a flag. Came back in, watched us win, and hugged a girl I didn't know.. In front of my wife.

quote:

I started screaming at the tv and running around the living room in a cuss filled tirade that scared the hell out of my wife and our dogs.

My wife told me to get out of the house. I ran out into my yard cussing and called one of my friends who wasn't watching the game.

I started to explain what had happened and my wife came out and said, "The game is not over".

I said, "Honey, it's over, believe me". I had seen the final score and Dooley running out on the field.

She went back inside and came out and said we were about to run another play. I said "What the hell?"

Hung up on my buddy, ran inside and watched the last play. I was happy we won, but was still pissed because we were so unorganized at the end.

quote:

I muttered "I cannot believe he did it again. He really did it again."

There is no excuse for the repeated failure to effectively manage the clock in late game situations. The execution during the waning moments of that game remains an affront to all reason and competence, even if we were miraculously rescued by Tennessee's stupidity.
Stormed out of stadium shouting "this is the worst EVER" over and over again.

quote:

Was in line to get on the elevator to leave the upper deck and people started running past me. Told my wife "there must be a fight". Guy behind me in line had headphones on and said "we get another play". Ran back up ramp just in time to see the play run. Left my wife standing there by herself. Never said a word. When I found her later, she was pissed.... but happy that we won.

These stories are all winners in my book!

I was on the West Side goind crazy after Lee completed those 4th down passes to Toliver. Right when the substitution was made, a collective "What are You Doing" was screamed through the entire stadium. I was in utter disbelief from when Jefferson was looking around to about 3 minutes after the clock said 0:00. Everyone in the section was livid, and it seemed like I was the only person there that noticed the yellow flags. But I was shell shocked and couldn't say anything. The whole section had gone into anarchy and it wasn't until the teams lined up for one more play that order could be estalbished. I was euphoric after Ridley punched it in (one of the most hard-nosed, baddass plays ever. He had to juke one Lber and then truck over another to get in the endzone) and was a couldn't believe the players were storming the field after beating Tennessee of all teams.

i wonder if people would be calling for Miles head if that loss would of happened? all I know is that we def. deserved to lose and was worried about the future of our program and how long Miles/Crowton will last.

Watched it on my TV in my room. Dad and the rest of the family in the living room.

Watched the snap go over his head, laughed and was pissed off at the same time. Had no feeling to watch anymore tv, but didn't turn it off yet. Family had already turned the tv off in the living room. I hear the announcer start talking about the flag. Run in and tell my Dad to turn the tv back on. Watched Ridley rush it in.

Laughed again. A win's a win. Didn't feel like a win tho. Was still cussing at Miles and the coaches after the game.

i was happy we won, but it is something that I will never forgive Les Miles for. I have little trust in him when it comes to making decisions under pressure.

I was on East sideline closer to opposite endzone from the action. I was screaming "not this shite again!! Run the damned play!" Then looked over at my buddy and asked "Can you believe what we just saw?!?"

I wonder if this has ever been asked on TD before. Don't care to search.

In 2007 when LSU beat Auburn with a few secs remaining on the clock. I wonder what would have happened if Byrd had dropped the pass. Would that have been a Miles mess up moment like the 09 Ole Miss game and what almost happened with Tennessee.

The first thing I said was fire the whole fricking staff. Run them all out of town. Then the tigers came back on the field and scored then I was in shock for about 2 hours. The coaching staff was lucky that day.

My first thought was he will not survive this. I had the same thought on the last play of NC game. I was somewhat disappointed both times.

I walked outside to have a cig. My girlfriend came running out saying there was a penalty and another play is about to happen. I still felt empty after that game even though the Tigers pulled it off. Probably the worst feeling ever after actually winning a game.

I did the "laugh" thing too, because I'd sworn all year that I was not going to let 20 year olds dicate my weekend mood. So, I laughed when we lost. Then, laughed harder when we won.

I kind of like my old self better that would have torn up some furniture or something.
