I feel the same way. There has to be progress shown in the season with no fewer then 2 losses otherwise the heat will really be on Miles.

Same here. I hope everyone enjoys their holiday.

I was saying even the most athletically gifted QB we'll ever see at LSU (JR) took a few years to get it. He didn't play a lot his first couple of years, then when he was ready, he played, and in time he became great. I'm hoping the same scenario plays out for Harris.

Was that the year we lost to UAB and Arkansas?

Or was is the year we lost by over 28 points to Florida and Ole Miss at home?

I know it wasn't the year Bama beat us 31-0

And when the good QB was gone, we had to go to a not very good one, and Saban couldn't develop him. We lost more games than we should have that year. Weird. He red shirted Jamarcus Russell, wtf was he thinking?

Yup. In 2002, without a good backup we lost 5.

Maybe if his teams were more disciplined at LSU we wouldn't have lost so many.

Now 2007...your hero backed into a national title by losing TWO games to I ranked teams...and you're going to did the 2003 team.

2007 was a harder sos. 2007 there is one true champion, LSU. 2003 there is a split title.

He's making a point. Countless threads shitting on Les for losing 3 games last year. When that was the norm under saban with teams loaded with NFL players.

You cant tell that poster anything. He thinks losing at least 3 games 4 out of 5 years makes you a top 5 program.

Right. I love the hypocrisy of Miles haters. Saban loses 3 games,4 out of 5 years= top 5 program & demi god status
Miles gives lsu fans its most successful 10 year stretch= decline and moron status

To be fair, our fans definitely shat on Saban a lot when he was here. I don't think it's a "Saban/Miles" thing, rather a "we always want to fire everyone" thing. Extremely reactionary and juvenile fan base in my experience.

Because Saban took it from the bottom and left us at the Top. Did it again at AL.
Miles has maintained the program.
Bottom line is both got a National Championship which are 2 more than I ever expected to see in my lifetime.
The criticism against Miles is 1/12 and the last 2 home games. Total chokes when he had the chance to shove it back in Saban's face on 1/12 then 3rd and Chavis blew the last 2 home games.
Miles pulls out gomer pyle moves at times however, imagine being freaked like MI right now. Miles is not the best in college football but he certainly is no where close to the worse nor is his job on the line even if he goes 6 - 6.

How is losing at least 3 games 5 out of 6 years, leaving us at the top? Again, saban walked into a lsu program that was stocked full of nfl talent. This isnt an opinion its a fact.
