Rivers looked pretty good.

Jennings looked good despite playing with the backups against the 1st team D. He doesn't look like a freshman at all!

Yeah, you don't want Metts to go down, but I'm not as worried about it...

Look at the first half film if you want a look at jennings-very impressive

Rivers had a good day statistically although theres no film of it as of right now

I think Jennings reminds me more of Perriloux than Jefferson. Jennings looks more comfortable in the pocket than Jordan ever did.

He looked nothing like Jefferson. He looked more like Brees while at Purdue with his pocket presence.

Rivers looked good as well.

There really isn't anything appreciably similar to that of Jefferson other than his race. They don't even have similar running styles. I sincerely hope every dumbass on this board doesn't force this comparison on every thread as this one poster did in this thread.

People say he was with backups, but our back up OL and RB's are pretty fricking good. He had three athletic WR's too, and the starting TE.

You obviously didn't watch the footage. bad blocking, bad snaps, and no time to throw

And while our backups have talent, they are obviously not as developed as the #1 defense that they were playing

Did you watch the game or do you know anything about Anthony Jennings prior to this thread?

I did watch it. I saw him not reading blitzes, and throwing the short route for 1 or 2 yards when he had more time.
Basically, playing like a kid who just got out of high school.

All spring we read about all of our linemen rotating with the 1's. I saw some bad snaps to mett also. I'm not bashing the kid, just saying he's farther from ready to play than y'all think.
