Does anybody have which players accomplished what in their summer leagues. I remember hearing about several players doing well but does anybody have the specifics.

Landry was the MVP of his league's championship series. But he only batted .304 during the summer. So it wasn't anything outstanding.

So much for that.

thanks

I had heard Schimpf was putting up serious numbers. From that and some fall practice, I really thought/think he was/is going to explode this season

It may not be through the roof but it gives me hope he'll turn it around

Schimpf was MVP of the Valley League series.

Schimpf was named the MVP of the championship series after going 7-for-13 (.538) in the three games with four home runs and five runs scored. He drove in eight of Luray's 17 runs in the series. Schimpf hit a pair of solo home runs on Tuesday, one day after going 4-for-5 with five RBI, including a three-run homer

Also, Micah Gibbs did well playing for Team USA.

I also noticed that our players have less at bats than the other players in the leagues. My guess was that the leagues start before the postseason ends. Is that right?
