How did Hess do in his starts this year?

He was the midweek starter prior to the georgia series. It was up and down. He got moved to the pen because SEC and we needed our best guys and Norman got hurt.

As far as I know, his rehab is going fine. Just like Cartwright (and all others) it's the shoulder that'll be treated with caution.

I think he may sign this offseason. 26th round or whatever it was after a year on the shelf isn't bad.

Broski, i didnt look it up on their site but even though I asked about stats I was more interested in how he looked from someone who watched him.

Right. But the schedule Cartwright was on is almost exactly the same as Norman's. It was an example.

Not really. Hess having shaky starts is really what kept him from getting a shot at the weekend. Walker was really good but he wasn't "lights out" early on. He was just better.

He looked good in some starts, he looked rocky in other starts. He certainly was not the same pitcher you've been watching the last part of the season.

27 IP, 4-2 record with a 3.32 era.
