he actually started out at a JuCo. Supposedly Saban told him he wasn't a running back and should move to linebacker...

if your public H.S. academic system rates 49th-50th in the nation; that usually means that many good LA kids that are atheletes, can't get their core grades qualify via the ACT.

Saban asked him to play LB. Dude went to Auburn and was stuck behind Cadillac and Brown. Tubby wanted him to move to LB too but he transferred instead.

That's a weak, bullshite excuse. Always put it on someone else, never your own fault.

The story on the rant was that Saban wanted him to play DE and be a pass rush specialist. Saban basically told him he could make him an All-Pro pass rusher. So, Jacobs headed to Auburn to get a shot at RB.

Because bags of rocks don't get good scores on the ACT.

I heard he was too dumb to work in the sugar cane fields. I didn't know that was possible.

No disagreement as to his talent. However, sometimes the most appropriate thing to do is what Saban did earlier with Marcus Spears and Webster. Sign them and if they don't pan out where they are wanting to play, offer them more opportunity on the other side of the team.
