It would be like UGA losing to Boise except a little worse. Boise was much better than this bunch we are playing this weekend.

Who was the quarterback of the team that beat Boise State that year?

Then you say even if this hypothetical comes to pass, it won't be that big of a deal at all.

Useless thread.

To be fair, I think he was trying to not sound like a negatiger.

A loss probably would not bode well for the team, and the melt down would be epic.

However, in the grand scheme of the season it probably would not effect much if the Tigers can get through their SEC schedule.

Sometimes an early loss can wake up a team and send them on a war path. Just remember that TCU is hungry to make a statement with this game as well.

What's going on in that thread? Are they getting word Cam is a Bama lock? If so, what info do they have that shows it?

Imagine a truncated version of the epic SEC Rant Cam thread 3 years ago and the on going SEC Rant $JFF$ thread. At the current rate it will reach 500 pages before Friday.

If it goes down as most are predicting and LSU loses Sat night my advice is stay far away from Tigerdroppings....far away!

The meltdown "shouldn't" be epic because we would have lost to a very good football team. TCU is damn good, period. And, we're still an unknown quantity because of the number of newcomers we'll be playing on Saturday. Some of you are sounding like TCU is some walk in the park. That's totally bogus! So, a loss this week doesn't automatically mean that LSU played pourly. You've got to allow for the possibilty that a good football team, TCU (with more experience) beat another good football team, LSU (with less experience).

Oregon State should have won the season opener in 2004 with a better kicker. Anything can happen Saturday.

I just hope arse hat doesn't bring up the whole "But CLM never lost a season opener before against and OOC opponents!" and then list meaningless stats. It's shite like that that make us lose.

2008 "But CLM never went a season without and 10-2 season!"

2009" But we never lose at night in Tiger Valley or in OCC bowl games!"

2010" Yeah we are back to normal!"

2011: "But CLM and LSU never lose in the Superdome in new Orleans!"

2012: "Statistically speaking, CLM always win bowls games against OCC opponents"

I just hope they don't read their own press clippings anymore and just bring the pain like the oregon opener in 2011.

A loss completely removes margin of error for remainder of season.

It would be devastating coming off the wake of losing CROB to Bama.
