How deeply has the Miles Factor wounded this program?

Back in 2012 a writer was lambasted for recognizing the onset of a steady decline of the LSU football program. Turns out he was prophetic. The damage Miles has caused, while not irreparable, is extensive.
Next year, regardless of the HC named, a total rebuild will begin. To think otherwise is delusional.
How long will it be before LSU competes again for championships?

LAWS you coonsasses are some drama queens.

I guess ya'll gonna be mini Obamas and blame every thing bad that happens for the next 8 years on Miles like Obama does on Bush. I can't wait for you bayou babies to find a way to blame him for the fumbles and miss plays on Saturday.

Damn I love this place.

It's just as much the administration's fault for having vaginas and not being able to do the deed last year.

Controversial opinion: Les Miles wasn't as harmful to this program's past five years as the administration

Wow, just Wow. Miles has nothing to do with the bleeding vaginas that are LSU fans now.

good question.
Miles of road to cover i suspect.
the 2012 NC debacle did it for me.
am hoping it will be fun to watch nevertheless.
changes can be difficult as we all know here at LSU.

Miles did far more lasting damage to the fans than to the team.

The roster is stacked with quality athletes and there is plenty $ in the AD coffers. We got the best DC in college football on staff.

With the right HC hire we should be relevant again immediately .

LSU is stacked with young talent. There should be no drop off with a new coach.

How long will you all blame Miles for everything?

I feel and have felt for the better part of 5 years, that Miles mindless methods, left unchecked, have run this program aground. It is virtually criminal for him to have been allowed operate the way he did.

My guess is at least three years. There is a lot of work to be done at this point. The program needs a culture change which isn't easy.

It will be fun once we start seeing improvement. Next year is going to be really bad thanks to the UF game being on the road.

Alleva, you suck!

I think very much. He took the process that was built on fundamentals and erased it in less time than it took Saban to rebuild it from a loss to ULM to a perennial historically elite program. He had the whole world in his hands and shite it away because he would not evolve from a 70's offense and focus on fundamentals.

He left us very thin at LB. could be a big problem. We've had enough good recruiting at most other positions tho. Will need Dlinemen LB's and OL mainly. Theoretically with Mike Gundy and Myles Brennan we could win a national title in 3 years!

Maybe LSU should set up portable safe places and on call counselors for all of you that were injured by Miles.

Maybe ya'll can go from being Obama and playing the blame game to being one of those poor little snowflakes melting over Trump's election.

I didn't know there were so many Democrats were LSU fans.

Amen. Their former obsession with Nick Saban worship (particularly giving Saban all the credit for any success Les Miles had) has now turned into an obsession with Les Miles hate.

They need to get over the fact that Saban left and didn't return, and that he is likely to continue beating LSU every year because he is the best coach in the NCAA.

Note: For the record, I don't care for Nick Saban.
