For crying out loud, it took me two days to quit watching replays and fan videos from the Bama win. I was completely exhausted, both mentally and physically, from the game on Saturday night.

For that matter, I didn't even really work until Thursday because I couldn't focus.

Act like you've been there before?

The letdown just needs to be minor enough for us to still win. Don’t care how. Just get the W.

If all goes right, this teams play isn't based on emotion.

That's BKs entire point

Fyi ..you have a new coach in town.

Not everyone processes things as slowly as you.

Because BK is building a championship program. Championship teams don’t have letdowns.

Well I think with Kelly, and this is just what I have picked up on from listening to him, is that he is process, process, process, process oriented. You have plan in place when players are to rest, plan for workout and stretching, plan for mental recovery, plan for game prep, etc, etc.

So rather than being like it was with Miles and O, emotions played too much, and you get Emotional highs then you get emotional let downs, etc, etc.

This team seems even and the way Kelly focuses on process, the team seems to peak mentally, physically, emotionally when it is kicked off on game day. Lot less variability in performance week to week with Kelly. LSU got beat by TENN, next week on the road in the Swamp played their best game, etc, followed that up with their best game vs. Ole Miss, then followed that up with their best game vs. Bama.

Easy. The positive vibe from the defeat of the Gumps should boost the team's mood if anything. A healthy dose of confidence leavened by just the right amount of humility. Works every time.

Because Les Miles is not on that sideline.

BK will have this team ready

BK has said multiple times he doesn’t anticipate one because it’s all about their process, not who they’re playing. They didn’t ratchet up energy or try fake hype tactics, only focused on fundamentals and bettering themselves as individuals and a team!

Because this team didn't practice to play for 1 single game.

I don't think everybody saw the potential for a SECCG berth as a real possibility at the beginning for this year. But, as things progressed that has not only become a potential but a real possibility. There had to be buy in to simply get to where they are today, I promise you the light at the end of the tunnel has become a flood light.

There are bigger fish to fry over BAMA now.

NOW, that being said, I think both AK and A$M are going to be VERY TOUGH games, but winnable no doubt.

Get it together, man. It’s not like you played the actual game.

The team wasn't able to do what you did. They went back to practice and business. They have a potential goal in their sights now.
