The Adams theatrics have gotten some national attention, it will be hard for officials to take his flops seriously. I think the 2nd call was was just to nullify the the 1st.
That being said, the Bo headbutt deserved a flag with or without the flop.

Honestly not that bad. The inadvertent whistle was no good but besides that that got a lot right.

Nah. He did it on our sideline and then directed a few gestures at the sideline.
shite was getting chippy and they were trying to calm it down.

The only question I had were all the personal fouls against the tigers. There were many times were they would show Ole Piss actions on the foul but never saw what LSU did. Oh and the inadvertent whistle...ugh, that was so unfortunate.

No, it was legit. I saw a replay last night from a different angle. He spun the ball and looked at LSU sideline and was shouting something.
So it was all combines, near LSU, spinning the ball, standing with posture, face the bench and yelling at them

It was mostly because it happened near mid-field in front of LSU's bench...but it was a tough call for Ole Miss, they still got the ball though
The first Qtr was unbelievable... the whistle play, the missed kick, the fumble and 2 dropped Int's..
I mean it should have been 14-0 LSU in my humble opinion. we were mauling them

It was pretty one-sided. Slive's boys will always try to protect the get-two-in mentality. That long pass down the sideline right after they mugged Quinn was the same pick play that ND was flagged for against FSU. Late in the game we had an INT reversed on the same play from when Auburn mugged Early Doucet but was ruled since they knocked it away no PI

in the first qtr .. horrible
1) they "could" have called Off Pass int" on OM in one of the early plays w/out a doubt .... but they let them play THEN
2)the inadvertently whistle likely cost LSU a touchdown and momentum. ...totally stupid to blow so fast, the play can always be reversed, but NOT the blowing of the whistle play.

That was definitely interference on the one we intercepted, at least be a little objective

it was not for just spinning of the ball, he turned and taunted or yelled something .. that was what took it over the top.

No, it wasn't. It's a rule that you can't spin the ball or you draw a penalty. If you don't like the rule, fine. But it is a rule and players should FOLLOW THE RULES.

Agreed. The shaky shite gets worse as the season goes on and it becomes clear who has a chance to make the SEC some money.

They were the oldest collection of officials I've seen in the SEC. I mean with the exception of the Referee those guys are all on Social Security.
Maybe they pulled seniority to get to do that game in a known "big game" atmosphere.

What about the play on 3rd and 2 where we got a false start? Sure looked like an offisides watching it live.
that was 100% a false start. ole miss reacted to the movement, too

TV provided no explanation.

The big play Ole Miss had that almost went for a TD was an obvious pick play. I mean the guy straight up blocked the defender downfield before the downfield throw.
if we ran a modern offense, we'd have a lot more of these plays ourselves
the inadvertent whistle was bad, based on how ref's call forward progress. objectively it was right to stop the play there, but that never happens so it was bad. then the refs had a bad no call on DPI against quinn. add in the above pick play and that kind of set the bias for LSU fans when watching the game
add in the fact it was close against a rival (who was ranked top 5) and the bias became huge in many people's heads
the refs really weren't that bad after that little stretch i listed above, but LSU fans just had a bias after
the DPI at the end of the game on LSU was 100% correct
the false start against LSU was 100% correct
the unsportsmanlike for spinning the ball was 100% correct

Not sure what replay you saw but the one they showed on ESPN clearly showed he stepped out, the first one may have been borderline but the second one was a no brainier.

No....that was PI on d...
Inadvertent whistles happen....and they almost never happen at good times...

They Ref.'s seem to get worse every year. Doesn't matter who is playing. Some times the official is 3 feet away from the play they look like they are blind!
