He seems to be struggling in Chicago but I think he gets another year before he gets fired. This sounds like the same time frame that Johnny Jones is given. Any chance he comes to LSU if given the opportunity?

Why not Tom Thibodeau or Jeff Van Gundy?

Hell, Phil Jackson ain't coaching right now. That'd make us immediate contenders, right?

Because Hoiberg is a better college coach who has no business in the NBA. Hoiberg and Billy Donovan will be back in the college game soon.

If Hoiberg comes back to college it won't be at a program like LSU.

Can't see him wanting to return to the college ranks.

That dude wouldn't be dumb enough to waste his time and coach our abysmal program.

Fred Hoiberg gave up his dream job at Iowa St to chase the NBA money. LSU can't afford him, even if he gets fired from Chicago

LSU doesn't care enough about basketball to go out and pay a coach like Hoiberg what he would ask.

He wouldn't come here regardless of what we would offer him. He would go to a basketball school.

The master plan is to let Billy Donovan tire of the NBA after next season then bring him back to the SEC

Billy won't return to the college game unless he implodes in OKC even then it would be hard for him to go anywhere but Gainesville due to his history and family being there. He was also tired of the direction of recruiting. As for Hoiberg, take him. He's been awful at coaching the bulls and the team has dropped off considerably this year in almost every major category. He's too passive aggressive and soft. I really hope him and Garpax are canned. Its been a shitshow in the windy city.
