Not to mention the young talent already there then add the likes of Quinn, Washington, and Williams. Plus others.

Will this thread sink to the level where we speculate what would have happened if we had hired Nutt instead of Les ?

Former coaches and recruiting analyst are saying Leonard Fournette will be the top impact freshman. Jameis Winston says Malachi Dupre is a complete WR. Michael Vick is giving Brandon Harris personal advice about be prepared to play. Some LSU fans are saying limit your expectations, I say believe the Hype.

Not to mention guys like Garrett, Quinn and Adams, who would headline most classes across the country.

Hiring Cameron, signing this class and then hiring Grimes assures the future to me. These next 3 to 5 years are going to special IMO.

The rest of the country fears us. Thats why they are all hoping their delusions of LSU being on a decline are in fact real. The only thing that is real is the reality that LSU is just getting stronger.

Correct, but doesn't diminish the strangeness of it all.

The 2016 Louisiana class is loaded with top prospects and add the the #1 dual threat QB Franks and you have another class that could rival or exceed 2014's, which was better than 2009's. We should be set through 2018.

I am definitely a homer, but I see the possibility of consecutive championships. As long as we can keep this current staff here, we should be a mainstay in the top 4.

So Grimes is a wizard or something? How do we even know how good he is?

I'm going to Houston in my pants the first time LF breaks a big run.

You are just looking to argue, go research it yourself....It's just my opinion

He's better than Stud in all aspects, thats a start and much more.

Nah. McFadden is an upright slasher with not a whole lot of lower body strength. Fournette is a much more powerful runner.

As a macro-economist who studies the world's problems daily, I turn to LSU football for a breath of fresh air...and the future of the football program never looked better to me. As the finances of the world collapse around us even on a faster pace that I had expected, I can't wait for the season to start. I need something refreshing to escape into...lol...go Tigers! And yes, L.F. will lead the way to a very good season...he's "the truth"!

I think LF is definitely great & the real deal. But I had not seen any comments about how good he is at blocking, especially protecting the QB in passing situations and also, just curious, can he throw the football? A halfback pass play with him throwing the ball might really shock the opposition, since he's so hard to tackle almost every defender on the other team has to know he might have to help bringing down LF.

In response to the post about LF & all the other talent now at LSU starting this season: will it be enough to beat Alabama twice a season? Under the new playoff format taking effect this season, LSU-Bama could face each other twice in a season fairly often.
