I remember when LSU used to beat the hell out of lesser teams like that. Won't it be nice to see that again?!

Certainly they are a very capable team with a quality quarterback with a want for offense. UCONN is finishing 2nd.

Contrary to what a lot of people think, LSU, at least in my 16 years of watching has rarely beat teams like this.

Tech in 2007 seems to be the one that sticks out.

Edit: Arizona 2003, Ole Miss 2011.

Arizona 2003 says hello.
Miami 2005 also says hello.

Yea but the lesser teams we would almost always smoke. Here recently that hasn't been the case. We've been letting them hang around all game.

I know what you're saying, but I feel like a lot of people will remember the Troy type games.

Didn't we also destroy State in 2007 as well? Or am I making that up?

I know we did in 2003, so we can add that one to the list.

We're now talking about games were we've laid it into teams.

If you don't care for that, see yourself out.

Thought of another one. LSU Notre Dame in 2007 sugar bowl.

JR was great that game.

LSU was on top of Auburn 45-14 at one point in 2015. Hard to believe after last week

Arizona 2006, Auburn 2009, Tulane 2009, Washington 2012, all these were blowouts.

It's all about

1) being prepared
2) fundamentals
3) discipline

I can't remember the last time LSU came out and had either one of those mastered.

We beat Georgia Tech pretty bad with JJ in a bowl game IIRC. Don't remember the year. Also the Oregon beat down in the opener in 11.
