thats a nice hotel. The doubletree downtown is not bad either but old as dirt. Embassy Suites in West Little Rock is not bad either.

If you are staying at the Marriott on Pres. Clinton Ave then you are within walking distance from the Downtown RiverMarket.

The Wyndham is close too. It's just a quick walk across the bridge from the River Market.

ETA: I posted this yesterday. The RiverMarket has bars.

There are several bars/eateries in downtown Little Rock at the River Market that are fairly nice places. To name a few...Flying Saucer, Guisanno's, Flying Fish, Sticky Fingerz Rock N Roll Chicken Shack, Willy D's Piano Bar, Ernie Biggs Piano Bar, Underground Pub.... It's the most civilized place to have a few drinks that I have found.

There is a Double Tree, The Peabody, and Capital Hotel all within a few blocks of the river market as well.

Downtown crime is not that bad. I work in the Stephens Building right across the street from the Peabody, which is like 2 blocks from the River Market. Crime is pretty much non-existant. There are homeless people that roam the downtown area, but the worst they do is ask for moneys.

I don't think there is a bar within walking distance from the Hilton, but the stadium is.

Make sure you get a steak at the steakhouse in the hotel. Very good!

Razorback Inn, Little Rock Air Force Base.

$39 a night, 15 miles from the Stadium. Now that's a deal!!

Little Rocks roads are odd. I've been here since 03 and I still get messed up.

ETA: A word of caution. Avoid the Denny's on Shackelford, and the one on University for that matter. Crappiest service I have ever had on a consistant basis.
