I hope he goes off and give the Advocate a big

I can't believe they had a break down of the game with a big thumbs up and thumbs down, with Mettenberger listed in the thumbs down. Someone should be fired over that.

Zach cannot recover from game 1,
recover from going 19-26 for nearly 200 yards, and leading the team to 500 yards of offense?? they are right, thats hard to recover from..

Mett would be much improvement if he threw lefthanded. It can't get any worse than last year as far as quarterback play.

Why does the media and frankly, so many "fans" have such ridiculous perceptions of Mett's performance last week? If you told me before the game against N.T. State the offensive gameplan was to 1) ram the ball down their throat for let's say...300 yards to dominate the Line of scrimmage and control the clock, and 2) controlled passing game to keep the D honest for lets say...almost 200 yards and complete 2/3 of all your passes, I would say we would WIN handily without having show all ur cards for the more intense SEC games later on the schedule. That was a winning formula executed well.

Let's keep it all in proper perspective.

In the first start for AJ last year against Kent St, his numbers were 14/23 1 TD 2 Ints ....
Mett is just fine.

The Advocate did this? If so, what a bunch Of tards. Mett looked good. Just needs a little better pass protection which I'm sure we will get as the season goes on.

It's a perfect game to let Mett take some chances

How do you know? It depends on what strategies UW employs. If they play two safeties back we should run mostly and throw receiver screens. If they start crowding the line we should let it fly. We have smart coaches. The reason they didn't throw it downfield last year is we had poor QBs. Let's let this year play out; we'll see a lot of different strategies.

He will be fine. It just depends if Miles wants to open up the passing game.

Not sure why you posted this at me...I think we did fine on offense against UNT.
