It scares me he is leaving....from a question of a replacement and possible recruiting losses. BUT.....other than that I am not completely sure he is worth it. Mostly from in game adjustments and end game lack of aggressiveness. Third and Chavis was a label put on him at UT and we lived it. I am worried but there is some realistic revolve about this situation that I am positive about. Miles better make a good hire though!

He's not worth it, but he's worth at least as much as Les.

I think A&M will eventually regret the hire. And we will regret the departure if Miles does not hit a home run with his hire... That being said, no, he is not worth the money.

Is ANY person worth more than 1 million a year to coach what is really just an after school event?

of course he isn't but LSU could have afforded to keep him. Get a competent replacement and LSU won't miss a beat. The real issue is upgrading the the talent across the defensive line. It wouldn't surprise me if Brick left too. In that case, Orgeron should have a contract on his desk the same day.

No one confuse me as a hater as Chavis did some great things here. Had some great defenses. Probably a great guy and leader.

After the bowl game...let me just say...the players deserved a better performance than what Chavis gave them. He obviously is all about the money to accept a bowl game check...even though he was checked out.

Not that damn much. How many times have we had Bama and others beat until the final drive and then Chavis happened on the final drive?

Prob not but if we were gona need to make a change now would be the time with just 4 def commits hopefully Miles is on phone with all 4 now.there really are better coordinators we could possibly get so for some reason this doesn't bother me as much and if he doesn't really want to be here good riddance and wasn't impressed at all with his performance yesterday it was like he already left with some of those calls or none calls. Just seemed like his head wasn't in the game.
