I was at the game. Looked like it hit the chain link fence...

Also how in the heck can review balls in SEC play, Super Regionals, and Omaha, but not in the Regionals?

Thx ... I thought it had cleared the line from the left field fans reactions

Looked like it hit on top of the fence. No way it hits up there and comes back in without hitting the chain link fence first.

I sit in left field. Skipped off top of yellow line then hit the chain link fence/bleacher handrail and bounced back onto field. Homerun

It was out. Not sure why PM didnt challenge more. If it hit the yellow line it would have fallen straight back down to the field but it hopped up from hitting the top of the fence or just beyond the top, which is a HR.

To avoid making another thread and I didn't see anything posted about it,
I was listening on the radio. Bases were loaded. Robertson scored. And then someone got cut off at home. People on the radio said it was a terrible call and it should've been a 5-1 game at that point with 2 outs, but instead it was 4-1 and the inning was over.

I have no answer for that... why not just allow review for the whole tournament? Makes no sense. Unfortunately, there will probably have to be a bad call that screws someone over in a regional before they change it.

Did you see a definitive look that showed it hit below the line? I never saw one and also thought the ball hit the chain link. Looked like the ball bounced around a couple times, then came back on the field.

This wouldn't have happened if we hadn't brought the shitty bleachers over from the old box...

they really need to replace both LF and RF with seats that go all the way to the wall so you don't have to have the extra railing made of chain link.

Not having a stadium full of nothing but chairbacks is a fricking travesty.

HR. Hit the chain link and bounced back in. I've seen LSU get to many of these called wrong.
LSU needs to get rid of that damn chain link.

This logic makes sense, but crazy shite happens sometimes.
One time I hit a line drive, but I hit the ball in an awkward spot to where it had a crazy spin on it. It hit the middle of the fence and went over.

How? To this day, it makes 0 sense to me. I know it sounds like complete bullshite, but I swear on everything it happened. It was a ground rule double. It was on a chain link fence. But I just remember hitting it and I knew it wasn't going to be a homerun. And j saw it hit between the top of the fence and the middle of the fence and went over.

Skipped top of fence. hit Chain Link fence. Bounce on field Yes homerun. In person.

Their was two distinct sounds. A thump from the pad and a clank from the chain.

Robertson's hit was a bee line straight to the fence. I can understand how the ump missed it because it happened so quick. By I am in the second to last section On the left field line and the was no doubt from my angle

Terrible call!! The ball bounced off the top of the yellow wall padding then ricocheted off of the chain link back into left field

You need to get your eyes checked!!
