I guess the negatigers have a place in our fanbase too. They make the team hate the fans enough to where they rally around their coach and play harder to prove them wrong.

Thanks negatigers. Good job at helping the team rally around a general hatred for you.

I'm glad they rallied around something. There's always new ways to play the "we're disrespected" card.

I'm all for it. Hate the fans all you want team, I'm cool with that if it helps you win.

You and me both. It's nice to see the Tigers victorious against a team that cannot be ignored.

we beat West Virginia, Miss State, and UNC this year and every one of those teams were brushed aside by our critics, but you cannot ignore a dominate performance against a team like Bama.

It's just extra special when it's your own fans disrespecting you at every turn.

LSU is a unique experience. One that every high school 5 star recruit should have.

what makes the players think the fans arent behind them? the reason i dislike miles is that i dont feel he is doing the players justice. i think the guys on the team deserve a coach who plays to win, can manage a game, doesnt unjustly show favoritism, and demands discipline.

miles is very inconsistent in all of these categories in my opinion. the team is playing their butts off and are not reaching their full potential, imo.

I don't know if I say dominate, but you damn sure can't ignore a win.

I've been critical of Miles and this offensive coaching staff, I've loved the defensive staff.

But the Alabama is the FIRST game I can say this year that I can't just say....damn, Les was lucky as hell to win that game. He had that team READY, and even though I was screaming at him for the use of the timeouts, the man coached a good game for the most part.

I'm going to enjoy this victory for the rest of the year. Les has already exceeded the expectations I had for him this year as far as the record goes. So kudos to him.

I know this is hard for some people to understand, but when a kid plays for a team that kid tends to stick up for EVERY person on the team. ESPECIALLY a coach.

Have you ever played organized sports? The coach is always revered by the players even if the coach isn't the best.

Then there is the booing. That probably makes the team have an "us against them" attitude. It's why I laugh at all of the fans saying "I boo Miles, not the kids". It doesn't matter what you think you are doing, you are booing the LSU Tigers. there are no individuals on a team.

That is why I always tell people that boo a college team like they are professionals that they are idiots. It's soooo counterproductive that it's an idiotic thing to do.

look I know you guys wanna bash the "negatigers" after a huge win like this but the "negatigers" including me had plenty of reasons to be angry before this game. For the first half of this game and most of the games before we were one of the most bland uncreative offenses in the nation. Plus the stats showed it. So fans like me aren't going to sit aside and be proud of no production. I am so happy to finally get a win that we are truly truly proud of. Also I want to add that I am so happy the players are playing their hearts out for the coaches even if they are inept at sometimes.

Like a breath of fresh air. If anything, most of the negas (and I think if you criticize Miles, that puts me in this category as well), I feel relieved. It's what I've wanted to see all season, and I finally got to see one half of it.

It gives me hope.

I've always bashed negatigers. This win doesn't really change anything.

If it helps, I thought we were terrible in a lot of games this year, but it was lack of execution by 18-21 year olds not poor coaching. At least not by Miles. Maybe Crowton deserves a little criticism this year, but again, NOT to the extent that some like to criticize.

It's all a matter of degree IMO. If you yell your head off at how bad everything is when a team is 7-1, then you may have lost perspective.

Then I ask you this how can you show a coach that you aren't pleased by what they are doing. This isn't peewee or high school football. Fans are spending a lot of money and their time to be there to watch LSU. It's very hard to use this never boo mentality when the coach is getting paid 4 million a year.

C'mon. It wasn't just the Rant bashing the team.

Let's face it. The "O" has been almost non-existent (UF game notwithstanding) until the 2nd half of the Bama game.

well of course they will stick up for a coach that acts like their buddy. sure they will stand up for him, but they know inside that he hasnt been giving them the best chance to win. they know they are struggling at QB.

with the booing, i dont do it cause i dont have tickets, but i dont blame the people that do. apparently it worked. miles says he will now get the ball to his playmakers.

I don't know. Write a letter? Maybe post on a message board. Booing during the game is the absolutely worst thing to do. You are getting into the heads of the kids playing the game. Remember that they are NOT professionals yet.

I know a lot of people think that since they spend a lot of money on tickets that they have a "right" to have some say as to how the team is run. Having 92,000 "coaches" in the stands and 0 fans doesn't make a team better. Have faith in the people in charge that they know what they are doing. If the coach is doing terrible and not winning games that he should obviously be winning then I would think the AD would remove him.
Just because we sometimes don't like that we barely beat a team here or that the coach didn't call the play we wanted him to call doesn't mean that we have any say in if that coach is fired. It's a fact of being a fan that you don't always get your way.

ETA: as an example - my mom paid for my uniform, equipment, and tickets to my baseball games in high school. She spent a lot of money through high school. She had ZERO input into how the team was run because she is JUST A FAN.

i agree with you here. the writing a letter thing was dumb though. i understand your concern with booing, as miles knows when he screws up.

i am very happy in my life which is why i dont get depressed when LSU loses. i worry more about the players who work very hard and many wont be playing on sundays. i would never forgive miles as a player if he held held us back due to poor clock managment, player develpent, play calling, and gameplanning.

Please don't think that people booing is going to cause a man who's lively hood is on the line to start listening to the whims of fickle fans.

It is sad when a team feels like their own fanbase isn't behind them. Glad this team is so strong..Please for the sake of the Tigers nega's go find another team to be a fan of..LSU deserves better than what they have been getting.
