What teams have both the great offense you want and a defense as good as LSU's. Who are we trying to be like?

Bama. Hell, Notre Dames offense was better than LSU's.

is it me or are some plays designed to go to the ref standing in position? like its sorta setting up a pick. i've noticed this in the Clemson game.. the play would be up the middle and the RB would run towards the ref standing..

and yet, LSU's 1970s offense still outscored that fun, creative offense..?

Yep sure did with that big walloping 23 points thanks to turnovers and short fields by our defense.

You people make it sound like A&M sucks. They are 10-2 and beat Alabama AT Bama. We couldn't beat Bama at our house. We had to hang on for dear life to beat A&M. Don't kid yourself. They are a damn good football team. Showing it again tonight.

Nowhere near the same coach. His whole approach is pinned on Chavis and the defense.

we had jimbo (who miles didn't want/like) and a bunch of saban guys...namely teh best QB in CFB

now i don't expect that LSU gets the best QB in CFB that often, so an 11 ranking is not likely

i don't see why LSU can't be in the top 35 almost every year without affecting that D though. i feel that's reasonable

I suggest that some of you need to go root for the Aggies.

Good team no doubt. But we did beat them with Coach Miles at the helm of the ship.

We also have beaten Bama at home. We also beat USC with Clowney......Sheez man.

It's about utilizing offensive players... not necessarily comparing athletes. I wish we utilized our skilled positions more than we do. I guess you can't have the whole cake and eat it too.

I agree with you and yes you can have it and eat it too when it comes to offense. A&M coaches do a great job of making it simple. The reason coaches like Chip Kelly, Brian Kelly, Malzahn, Chad Morris, and all the Air Raid guys are so incredibly productive is that their systems are so simplistic in nature and are easy to make adjustments with in their systems.

LSU was 87th in ypg at 374.2 per

ND was 48th at 421.3/game

Alabama was 38th at 439.3/game

If it's wrong, i'm sorry
