He's actually talking about having offensive creativity and creative play calling and letting your best players touch the ball and letting their God given talent take over instead of trying to run a 1970's offense.

A&M is already very good, let Sumlin keep stock piling recruits and they will start arse kicking the SEC more than they did this year. Imagine if LSU had an offense like A&M with a great defense. Could go on a dynasty run. Texas A&M has a great offensive staff. Long live the "Air Raid" baby!

and yet, LSU's 1970s offense still outscored that fun, creative offense..?

So that's what we've come to expect now? Have to win by a certain number of points to please everybody?

this. No one understands that we could also have a good offense with our D. They just can't grasp that concept.

Then you better be praying for a more productive offense next year. Defense will struggle.

i don't know why people are dismissing the OP, then

the results against TAMU don't matter. our D won that game. nobody is saying to downgrade our D

Yeah a 3 Star QB that no one in the SEC offered. Short QB's keep proving coaches wrong.

Example: Drew Brees, Russell Wilson, Johnny Manziel

What teams have both the great offense you want and a defense as good as LSU's. Who are we trying to be like?

This game is getting ugly. It's amazing what happens when the defense doesn't know what's coming!

It's about utilizing offensive players... not necessarily comparing athletes. I wish we utilized our skilled positions more than we do. I guess you can't have the whole cake and eat it too.
