. I'm sure you'd take a bullet for Addai and Ridley too, right? Right?

No way! They're black

There now that you've got your race baiting aside allow me to answer. If either Ridley or Addai did what he did Florida 2007 hell yeah.

And it is a discredit to Hester to use hyperbole to bolster his resume. Paint him for the Tiger he was, not one he wasn't.

You want to say he played with heart, was a great teammate, a true leader on and off the field and the kind of player every coach wants on his team fine....But to say his 2007 season was some of the best football ever played at LSU is absurd.

You really shouldn't let races of different players weigh so heavily on your mind.
You're obsessed with it.

Who said anything about race?

You said you would take a bullet for Hester. He was a very good running back for us and has always been a good representative of LSU. So I named a couple other running backs that have been good for us in the last 10 or so years and have also been good representatives of LSU since leaving, wondering if you'd also take a bullet for them. I guess I'm curious why Hester is the one you'd choose to take a bullet for. I mean, I understand if he's a relative or something. I'd take a bullet for my brother, my cousin and my parents.

Now, or when he was at LSU? I heard some good stories about him from several folks that worked as waiters and waitresses at local restaurants during his LSU years.

Overachiever. Gritty. What he does doesn't necessarily show up on the stat sheet. Does all the little things. Does the things that help a football team win. Deceptive speed.

tremendous competitor, outstanding work ethic, not a harder worker on the team

Addai singlehandedly beat Florida a couple years prior.

you won't see him in the highlight reels very often, the younger players look up to him, he wasn't highly recruited, he excels in the classroom

Without him we don't come close to winning the NC. His effort against FLA was historic in Tiger football history.

High motor, gym rat, intangibles, throwback player, deceptive speed, are all thrown out whenever anyone quotes a white player rather it's Hester or Trey Quinn or a certain linebacker playing now. Yes let's not say anything about race, because I have never heard one player or coach speak of it. Whenever any back spoke of another it was always supportive and positive. They were teammates and seemed genuinely to enjoy being around one another. Move on and come into the new millennium.

Why does race always have to been in threads about great white football players?

Like I said, the player Hester reminds me of is Jason Snelling.
