Houston has a legit shot at getting into the Big 12 with Herman at the helm. Right now he is invaluable to their program. On top of that, Houston has a major booster who is a billionaire and will supposedly pay Herman whatever is needed to keep him there as long as they have a shot at the Big12.
Every major program that's tossing around the idea of a coaching change is mentioning Herman. It's come out of UT and Aggots, both of which can easily outbid LSU. However, it looks like their coaches aren't going anywhere.
I'd like to see him here, but I don't realistically see it happening.

First off no one is going to outbid LSU.
Second, just because Houston MAY get into the Big-12 is no reason to stay there.

I think LSU is going to whiff on Herman, but there are plenty of good reasons for him to leave. LSU is a far superior place to be a coach than UH.

I'd like to see him here, b

you realize there isnt a school that pays more to their coaches than LSU is this year, right?

Herman might not come to LSU, but he isn't staying at Houston. Houston isn't a school that you make a career at. It's a stepping stone.

When LSU flashes 6 mil a year he will become open minded. Houston is not a powerhouse and will not get into the Big 12. He will leave but we have to compete with several other big programs.

I don't know- I have been hearing it is not about money- Herman truly wants to build his own legacy at UH. Sometimes it is not just money...

You realize LSU screwed the pooch on Jimbo last year because of state financial issues right? What makes you so sure that won't happen again? LSU does not have the money UT and A&M has and that's a fact.

Would you like to compete vs OU, Texas, and A&M for talent every year or possibly go to LSU and have your choosing from a deep pool of future NFL players?

Let's be real here.
