Here's what they should do...

Pay South Alabama and that frickin' FCS school and get them out of the way. Why SEC teams play FCS schools is asinine in the first place. If you're a big boy football team, you should play FBS schools only. Should be a new rule.
Anyway, JA mentioned that it would be tough to play on the 19th with A&M five days later. I agree. Therefore, in order to maintain the integrity of the conference with respect to which teams represent the conference in major bowl games and/or the college football playoffs, Texas A&M should be willing to move the Thanksgiving game to Saturday the 26th or even Monday the 28th. Same goes for LSU. I don't care if it means giving up a home game - playing a meaningful conference game vs. Florida that will likely have post-season implications should trump everything else.
If JA remains stubborn and we end up playing USA on the 19th, there should be a boycott of the game.

Your argument, as stupid as it is, would be valid if South Alabama was indeed an FCS school. They gained FBS status in the 2013-2014 season and play in the Sun Belt. But I forgot you were the expert lol some people amaze me when they try to argue a point as if they know what they are talking about.

You do realize that the whole reason the game is on Thanksgiving night is that it is the feature game of the night and worth mega bucks to the conference. That game aint getting moved at this point.

Then accept the game with FL, and move it to the Friday night. 11/18

He is talking about Presbyterian, the team Fla plays that weekend. Not South Alabama...

But that would be 3 SEC road games in a row. Dat's a lot!

My OP reads, "Pay South Alabama and that frickin' FCS school..." (i.e. Presbyterian)
Two different entities. Learn to read and discern.
Therefore, according to your logic, my argument is valid, fool.

Yes, dat's a lot. But consider this:
No game vs.UF but we run the table. Since Bama would likely be 7-1, we won't play in SECCG. We end up in a nice bowl at best.
Run the table including UF game on 19th which means we would have won those three consecutive road games PLUS the SECCG - we're in the playoffs.
Q:Therefore, what do we have to lose?
A: Nothing, but everything to gain.

You want LSU to pay South Alabama for UF's screw up?
UF can pay both schools then maybe we'll talk.

So screw the multi multi million dollar economic impact of a city 2 months after its worst disaster in history?
Posted on 10/6/16 at 8:25 pm to TNTigerman
And what if we lose to Ole Miss and Alabama. LSU doesn't get to see LF7 one more game. City suffers and what about refunds? LSU cough's up millions in losses too?

Why not this: If it comes down to LSU or UT missing out on a shot at the SECCG, push the SECCG back a week, play the UF LSU game the first weekend in December. It could be advertised as a win and your in, and you have the Premier Conference Championship playing all by themselves. Everybody wins.

Lot of if's in there but I don't think it's fair to ask LSU to play 3 SEC Road games in a row.
LSU has made sacrifices, in the past, for situations such as this. Screw UF for not willing to get this game played.

That's a great idea!!
Three SEC road games in 12 days (Nov 12, Nov 19, Nov 24).

JA's best play is FL pays South Alabama and the UF LSU game is then played in BR. No exceptions.

Where do you idiots come from?

The most easy answer is moving the fricking Cocktail Party up one damn week and schedule the UF-LSU game on the 29th. Its not that much to fricking ask.
