I was finally able to view it. The story, the practice footage, the game footage, and the interviews with his peers was absolutely riveting.

I remember as a teenager watching the State and Auburn games. The footage brought back all the exhilaration.

I like the fact that it was done by a local Louisiana news station, rather than having it on a 30 for 30. The fact that it was raw and less polished made it more intriguing. It was well done.

I don't judge Mr. Collins one bit. He payed his debt to society, and he rehabilitated himself with the help of his wife. Great story.

Great documentary and I’m really glad he’s gotten his life together and seems to be at peace with how his life has worked out.

I wish the best for he and his family.

Will we one day be idolizing Myles Brennan the same way some or doing for Collins today? If no, why not? Like Collins, Brennan only had a few remarkable games in his entire LSU career. He threw for the 7th most yards in a game in the history of LSU football...in a loss (vs. Missouri). Collins's game vs Auburn doesn't even rank in the top 10 of the best rushing games in LSU history (in terms of total yards)

Many, many guys in the history of college football have had 1-2 great games...only to never be heard of again. I was there at the Auburn game. Collins was remarkable that night. Maybe if he doesn't get hurt vs. Vandy the next week he goes on to become the best LSU RB ever (though it's very unlikely he would have been able to stay out of trouble). But to talk about him nearly 30 years later like he was one of the best RBs to ever play for LSU is Al Bundy-esque.

Collins, unintentionally, pulled the best George Costanza leave on a high note move in the history of LSU football

Let me guess. You also think LeBron (LeBitch Blames) James is the GOAT and does not flop.

I saw him play against ASH in 94 or 95 and he was unstoppable. Nobody had seen anyone like him before. It was literally like watching a man amongst boys.
I’m glad he was able to dig himself out of that dark place.

Good luck Cecil !!
