Hell its even one thing if you went into the day uncommitted , but you've been committed for damn near close to a year. You can have your moment and give UT that W strong is apparently so desperate for, but you at least need to give a heads up to the the staff that has been counting on your commit for a while.

Being a cowardly little douche could have caused a kid a spot that actually wanted it.

I honestly thought Strong was a better man than that.

And I'd criticize LSU a lot worse than this guy if they pulled a scholarship last minute

BK, great thought. Would love to see it too but pounding Strong into submission with a blowout statement would be even better.

Too bad we don't play them, would love to see LF7 run over Fowler.

We do, but LF will most likely be playing on Sunday by then. Sat, Sep 07, 2019 Texas at Austin, Texas (Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium)

Can this finally put a pin in that bullshite about Strong trying to do things "the right way." Asking kids and their families to lie is just as shitty as the kids and their families agreeing to do it.

that's a bold and shitty strategy... if you can't hold on to a recruit the old-fashioned way after he announces his intentions, then you have no business recruiting.

nice one Charlie...I hope y'all get your shite kicked in again this season.

Common sense tells every ranter on TD and all college football programs that 2016 Texas is a one hit wonder. Freshman can play early there because tu sucks.

No program such as us, Bama, A&M, TCU, Michigan etc will let this happen next time.

Good thing for us it was only 1 player who lived in Manor outside of Austin.
It's like us flipping a player who lives in Denham Springs or Port Allen.

That's fine if he wants to operate like that, but long term he is screwing himself.

Yeah, I don't know if you want to start playing dirty with the teams around you like that.

I'm with you. Otherwise, what's the whole point in being committed.

It's time for the rules to change.

The other factor here is the High School. No HS coach worth his salt wants a program like LSU to stop recruiting their kids, and this kind of BS is what causes programs to stop recruiting from certain places. It's short sighted bullshite.

There are two things that suck about this. 1 regarding the coach and 1 regarding the kid.

1) Strong knows that the kid is committed to LSU and that LSU is not offering another kid a spot that might really want to be at LSU. (substitute any school here) So he is preventing another player from being offered because the coaches believe they have that spot filled and have other positions to fill.
2) The family and Fowler are allowing Strong to use them as part of a hoax on the coaches and school he is committed to and are taking part in a deception. A deception that they themselves have no reason to be a part of. It's not like Miles and staff have done anything to Fowler to cause resentment that would deserve them being deceived. And, now Fowler himself has taken an action with his family that most likely resulted in another player from being able to get an offer in time from LSU. And possibly a kid that with the open spot really wanted to come to LSU.
