at least it keeps the SEC fresh in everybody's mind.

You don't think that the SEC is still clearly the dominant conference in college football?

6 of the top 9 teams in the week 11 BCS are from the SEC. The past 6 BCS champions and last year's runner up are from the SEC.

I don't think if K-State or Oregon win it all this year anyone will say "the SEC is shitty" or the Pac-12/BigXII is now the dominant conference.

The ONLY team, in this season, that I would pull for to win it all outside of LSU is Georgia. If anyone from the SEC is going to win, I'd rather it be them than f'in Bama. Why anyone would want Bama to win so the media will still love the SEC is beyond me.

I really don't understand the SEC allegiance. I am a LSU fan because I am an alum and grew up with a LSU family. The SEC is headquartered in Birmingham and certain schools derive benefits because of that (read UA-Tuscaloser). The SEC is not a school nor does it award degrees. How can you have an allegiance to a non-entity?

The SEC screws LSU every chance it gets, the competitive imbalance in scheduling is lawsuit material. The Alabama schools play with the wind at their collective backs.

Frick the SEC, I'd rather see the University of Tehran Titans win the BCS than an Alabama school.

Another SEC team's success does not help LSU as a program, whatsoever.

Its gives us more money after the bowl money haul. But in reality I hate bam a as well. The fact that we have to recruit so many kids even kids in our own backyard. Why would we root for them to have any success.

Bama, UF, UGA they all have recruiting gurus so i dont want them to have the edge at all.

Now what I do like is for teh SEC to win more bowl games than any otehr conference.

BUt when Michigan punished Florida a few years agao and when Utah beat the shite out of Bama I slept alot better.

I am an SEC fan to the point where it cant hurt LSU but only help us.

I am not an SEC fan. I am a LSU fan. They just happen to play in the SEC.

If we get 2 teams in BCS games, which we have done every year there has been a "5th" BCS game, everyone gets the same cash, win or lose.

F Bama.

as for pulling for UGA, screw that, too. Here's why:

SEC TITLES:
Alabama 22 (last in 2009)
Tennessee 13 (1998)
Georgia 12 (2005)
LSU 11 (2011)

I want LSU to overtake UGA and Tenn for 2nd place in all-time SEC titles. No one is going to catch Bama.

Where's Ole Miss on this list? aTm will get to Atlanta before the Black Bears.

Mississippi 6 (1963)
Kentucky 2 (1976)
Mississippi State 1 (1941)
Vandy/Ark/USCe/A&M/Mizzou 0

Note that USCe and Arkansas still have no SEC titles after being in the league 20 years.

I'm not sure how anyone really can be anymore. Especially an LSU fan. Especially after last year.

I want Oregon, K State and ND to go unbeaten. That way Alabama and ND get screwed, does life get better?
