I think we should go with Brennan. And I'm not even saying Danny is a bad qb, because he's not. And I'm not saying this loss is on him. But I think giving Brennan experience for next year when Danny is gone is HUGELY important for our future. Danny isn't going to the pros we aren't hurting his draft stock or gipping the kid. And he's a good kid, I'm not saying bench him for the season necisarily, just give Brennan a LOT of experience.

How did that work out for Lee?

I want Brennan to play, just not sure how this could end.

The o line is trash. I swear he will be broken against a team like Florida, Auburn, Bama, just any SEC team

I agree. Brennan can make more of the throws.

My god, stop with this stupid shite.

People bitched for years that Les Miles was afraid to let his young QBs throw the ball because of what happened to Lee. Now, those same people point to Lee's freshman season as a reason to not let Brennan play. Meanwhile, a true freshman QB just lead a Texas team on a comeback on the road against a top 5 team. Alabama almost won a national championship with one last year, Georgia is starting one, and South Carolina started a damn good one last year that looks great so far this year.

Are we going to be pointing to Lee 5 years from now when someone brings up starting a true freshman? 10 years? Maybe, just maybe, Lee didn't have what it takes, and that's okay. Better to find that out sooner rather than later.

Give this team until Florida and see what happens.

There is a massive difference between the LSU offense and the offenses you just named.

Lee was forced into action due to injury.

I don't want to see Brennan until the season is really done. 3 losses then give him the ball. 1 loss is still salvageable and DE is our best option

What makes LSUs offense any different than Georgias? Wasn't one of the exciting things about Canada's offense is that he tailors it around his QB?

Normally I'd agree with you. Even though I don't consider the season done and the apocalypse is upon us.

My only issue is that you don't want Brennen trying to develop with this WR corp. Yes, I said WR... not OL. I wouldn't mind him having to try and play behind this OL. He'll learn to anticipate, avoid pressure, and be better at picking up blitzes than they are.

But with these WRs to have him trying to learn the speed of the game, timing, anticipation would be difficult. If not detrimental.

If we're going this route, go to 2 QB system with both Narcisse and Brennen with DE mentoring them.

If by injury you mean Ryan Perrilloux being kicked off the team and Jordan Jefferson being a true freshman, then yes.

He needs the experience, but will absolutely get destroyed in SEC games behind that OL.

If he was 225 (And not 195) it wouldn't be quite as bad.

In any case, he should get at least 50% of the snaps against Syracuse and Troy.

If GOAT LSJ wouldn't have transferred, he'd probably be a better option right now. Need somebody that is more mobile behind that Miles/Grimes recruited hot garbage OL.

Actually, he means Andrew Hatch being knocked silly in the Auburn game then broke his leg against Georgia.

Stop rewriting history. Lee was forced into action in the Auburn game when our starter Andrew Hatch got injured.

Brennan only threw around three passes dude. And one of them was a beautiful bullet over the middle which would have resulted in a TD if our WRs were any good.
