so what about the SEC championship game?

that disproves that theory.

Do they sell it outside "controlled areas", I've only sat in those areas at the seccg...

They would have to update the restroom capabilities before they started selling beer.

Or sell balloons that people can fill with piss. Even more income.

Alcohol is also not allowed in the general seats at Tiger Stadium, but if you sit right above those areas, in the box seats, you can drink alcohol. "It's easier to control," said LSU Associate Vice Chancellor Herb Vincent. "It's a game management issue."

Thus : If you can't afford a suite, your to irresponsible to drink at TS. Your also not good enough to see replays of disputed calls.
LSU needs to get over this elitist BS.
LSU needs to be a trend setter on beer sales. South LA has always had a very different view on drinking. Why should we align our selves with Bible Belt schools on this matter. If visiting fans don't buy our beer who cares?

LSU would have to quadruple security if they sold beer.

I say no beer sales. I get enough water and coke spilled on me already. Don't need beer to go with it.

I bought all the beer I could drink in Tiger Stadium when the Saints were playing there after Katrina. The games managed themselves just fine.

Actually schools are finding that alcohol related incidents are going down with the sale of beer.

I'm glad. Don't need assholes ruining the games. Plus we had two people pass out in our section Saturday.

Agree x 1000.

Things have improved a good bit since they cracked down on people bringing liquor in.

Too many people can't handle their shite.

People are left to downing liquor before entering and sneaking in flasks of liquor to tide them over instead of having a few beers throughout.

That's because people are binging on liquor.

Not exactly having 2-3 beers over the course of the game.

it would seem to me that the group this affects most, 18-20 year olds, would still have this problem, no?

You would have less binging on liquor, thus less belligerent fans passing out in the aisles.

It's worked wonders for West Virginia.

But allowing alcohol to be purchased wouldn't help
