Help us Coach O, you're our only hope

Coach Edward Orgeron, Jr. is the answer.
Head Coaching experience in the SEC. Terrific job as interim HC at USC. Players love him and would rally around him. He doesn't have that insane stubborn bullheadedness we've had to suffer through since 1-9-2012. If we stumble against JSU, or God forbid lose, then Alleva needs to do what is already a foregone conclusion and pull the trigger.
Cam? No way, we need him this season as OC. I truly believe that its Leslie's meddling in the offense that's the issue.
Aranda? Nope, he may be talented, but he needs to be allowed to focus on helping our defense develop these new schemes.
Fire Les, Bring in Coach O (rawr, rawr, Football).....the fanbase is satisfied, the players are able to enjoy their season instead of it being sheer misery and we get the first step on Tom Herman, etc.

Dude.
Cam Cameron runs the exact same offense. It doesnt matter if Miles listens in on the play call.
San Diego, Baltimore: there is a reason the TE and RB were the top players on the team each year. Thats the system he has ran. You act like Cameron is going to blow the offense up in a Spread attack. He aint.
Get Cameron the frick out. If there is any position that needs firing immediately its his.
If anything, what needs to happen is Cameron fired immediately. Hire an interim OC. That guy can take over for Miles at the end of the season.

FIFY.
He's right where he needs to be. Guy does not need to be head coach of LSU. Anyone who thinks otherwise is out of their goddamn mind.

It went poorly, but if you judge someone by their most recent accomplishments then the man is definitely qualified to take the reins to get us to December.

Also, in regards to finding a new head coach, what does it matter whether we have an interim or wait until the end of the year to let Les go?

No, no he is not.
He has never been a coordinator and was a disaster of a head coach and the only experience he has is on the defensive side of the ball.
Who would coach our offense?

I had the same thought that Coach O would be great. You keep Aranda, and then focus on finding the best OC rather than getting into a bidding war for the best available head coach

I'd take the guy carrying around the drink tray in the stadium as head coach at this point.

recruiting.
Its the same exact thing Fisher did at Florida state, although it be a little longer. And the same thing Muschamp tried to do at Texas. But Mack wasnt having any of that. He finally retired after Muschamp left

Fine with him as interim HC.

I'm sorry about that rock you were living under in the fall of 2013. You missed some good football.

I'll take Herman for the right price.
Fisher second.
But agree, don't outbid yourself.

Worst case senerio is Less leaves, Coach O takes interm and does well. Then they promote him to head coach. Les needs to finish the season then go

I dont understand what this means. You make a list of those you want, and go throw money at them until they say yes.
Coach O might be okay for 3 months, but he is not on that list, and needs to know that up front.

I know coach O has a great pedigree, and has coached some great players. But go back and watch the defensive line effort (specifically Godchaux) in the first quarter last night and tell me that's the team wide effort you want.

A. They retained their offensive coordinator. We would have no one to coach the offense.
B. He went 6-2 and the only decent team he beat was Stanford, which was a great win, but come on. He wouldn't do any better than Les, so what is the point?
