Are you saying this team hasn't blown an abnormal number of leads this year? Go look at our offensive proficiency in last 6-8 mins vs rest of game. If you still think we're a good second half team then you're blind or in denial.

LOL so you think that because they were a higher seed and because they were 2 point favorites they have more talent? Nothing to do with coaching and fundamentals right? HA. You guys are amazing on here. SO, LSU plays like they are capable and blow NC State out....they play like bad LSU and throw it away......not hard to see LSU was the much more talented team. Hell, Barkley said as much...in fact, calling them a top 10 talented team....and unexcusable losses to several bad teams this year.

Basketball is about talent. If you have a player that can cross a defender up, take off from the charge circle and dunk, the other coaches arent saying," why didnt i think of that play?".

I think they'll be better because his players have improved, and believe some of the bench guys will develop into a big contributor.
The biggest problem LSU had this year was lack of depth, and I hope Jones is able to get his team more prepared for next season.
I'd also argue that guards are far more important to the college game and A&M + NC State both have much better guards (and really Auburn has a better guard than any on LSU's roster).

Show me where i said that. I responded to a quote saying LSU talent was so superior. NC State has just as much talent as lsu.

Exactly. We have 1 player that could possibly make a nba roster.

This team had no heart except for Horsby and at times Quarterman.
Next year we should have heart, leadership and motivation. IMO

I meant every game this season. Some of these guys look defeated when things start going south with time on the clock.
I watched over half the games this season, this team seems unmotivated at times....

Leadership, not getting it from the coach. We have no upperclassmen on the team. When things go bad, they keep going bad.

Great coaches say this is why we play the game
If it was up to paper why play, you line up and play the game. The best talent does not always win.
LSU this year lacked something, who knows. Rant always wants to blame the coach. JJ has started to build the program and no one can disagree we are better off than before he took over the team.
Did any one on Rant think we would win the title this year?

Just because you have a better record on paper from one year to the next doesn't mean you are a better team. I am so sick of "we are going to be awesome next year" thinking all of the time when it comes to basketball and football, I could vomit. At least baseball comes through sometimes.

Did our starters ever come out of the game? i dont think they did maybe quarterman for a bit. they got tired at the end, and the missed FT's is what killed us
