or for that matter success at running an offense?

Wasn't he let go at Baltimore and then they won a SB?

Brees- real success after San Diego
Mettenberger- had a year at UGA and JUCO

Brees and Rivers both learned how to be QB's from Cam, according to them. As did Flacco. Randel el freaking lit it up at Indiana.

Mett's improvement from '12 to '13 was incredible.

It's okay to give credit where credit is due.

Elvis Grbac, Randell el, breese, rivers, flaco, mett.

Indiana had a top flight offense when he was there. San Diego led the nfl in offense when he was there. Not a bad resume. I don't think it's cam. A lot of oc's that were/are respected look poor under miles.

I think most people forget that the Ravens had to complete a miraculous 4th and 28th to even make it to that game.

So developed QBs and top 33 picks in the NFL draft were developed by him in the pros. These weren't young college QBs no matter how people want to slice it and it took a long time for them.

He wasn't OC or QB coach there, he was HC, so not sure how that means anything.

How about Flynn from 06 - 07? Did that make Crowton an incredible QB guru?

Mett was killing it in the second half of 2012 once the WRs decided to start actually catching the ball.

Trent Green, Gus Frerotte, Joe Flacco, Dre Brees to name a few.

And for everyone who thinks Brees was awesome forgets how bad he was which was why they drafted Eli and had to trade him for Rivers. Cam turned Brees around.

Now all this means nothing if he can't get our QB's being productive. This is a what have you done for me lately type of business...... hell it's a what have you done for me lately type of world.

Like Les, I think Cam's time has run it's course. Time to prepare for the next chapter.

ding ding ding we have a winner and a big reason why LSU has had problems with passing.

In the case of Saturday, at least 3 of Dupree's drops , if they had been caught were big first down yardage. Also, in the first half, if Dural is not held on the play he would have caught that pass and no one is catching Travin Dural on a sprint.

LSU problems saturday were not a result of not catching the ball. Yes Dupree had his hands on a couple but they were bad throws.

What I'm furious about is that with a full offseason to figure out WTF is going on the first series including run run run punt.

The second series then began with a sprint to Harris's left side so that he could throw against his body on the run to hit dupree....not a good call for an un-confident Qb looking to get going. Why not a screen pass, bubble, or slip screen to get that first reception under his belt....it baffles me.

LINK

"The Baltimore Sun, crediting unnamed sources, cited the Ravens' inconsistency on offense and quarterback Joe Flacco's development, of which the team hasn't seen significant progress."

"Harbaugh said he was doing what was best for his team."

Enough said!

I'm with you on that. I did not see why Les did not have Harris slinging it around from the first play....minimum 3 wide and say to the defense, "whatever you thought, we ain't doing it so now , you adjust."

That being said, Wisconsin has an excellent defense that probably should have made that betting line go down and as such maybe all of the posters on here would not have been as surprised with how the game was played. Scheme wise they are every bit as good and disciplined as Alabama.

Still why could not the defense figure out the damned TE. If he was shut down, we probably squeak by in the game.

TE killed us all game! Many times for extra yardage and/or 1st downs. Losing OLB C Thompson, converted S, was big....but we have to able to match up better. Honestly I felt like we were playing ARK. Vanilla O, with straight ahead running game and TE. Aggressive D that just overwhelmed our OL, and created problems all day....
