There is not a single person in CFB that is hyping this season enough. What this guy is doing is absolutely INSANE

Yep! It’s really not a knock against Bo Nix. He’s had a great year and would be a heisman winner in a lot of years. But Jayden is clearly the better player this year!

Seems as if this shows he was better than Joe Burrow.

Nice. And I really hope they award the Heisman based on “just the numbers”. Kid deserves it.

But …. Life OFTEN does not work that way. This year it may—seems compelling.

That his passer rating.....just passing mind you...is the best and by what seems to me to be a fairly significant margin over anybody else, and oh by the way he ran for over 1100 yards!!!

That speaks volumes.

That's the thing, through the regular season, jayden daniels in 2023 had a better individual performance than 2019 Joe burrow.

It seems hard to believe that some supposed experts could argue against bold numbers like Jayden’s. Still people like Ryan Leaf have agendas.

And Jaydens competition was much tougher.

A disgrace if he does not win it.

Absolutely - look, bubble screens and wide receiver screens are Oregon's bread and butter have been for years. But to pretend that's anywhere near the degree of difficulty of the passes JD5 throws is ludicrous. I mean did you see 3 of the 4 TD passes JD5 threw yesterday??? Those weren't bubble screens.

But LSU lost 3 games because of the worst defense in our history while Nix goes to the playoffs with a Heisman if Oregon wins next Friday night.
If you look at just the best overall player, JD wins.
Isn't the LSU AD supposed to market Heisman Candidates. Where is the "#JDforHeisman" on social media?

IF DANIELS ISN'T AWARDED THE HEISMAN, IT SHOULD NEVER BE PUBLICIZED / HYPED IN ANYWAY EVER AGAIN

There ya go! The “program”, the “university”, should get engaged here.

LSU has a strong interest in having the Heisman awarded to a transfer QB — recruiting, stature of the football program and the coaching staff.

What can the athletic department be doing to help here?

If we had a sub-par defense we would be unbeaten right now and possible #1 or #2 in the nation. Playing for a national championship. It’s awesome to witness what Daniels has done this season, but heart breaking to know what could have been.

It would be great to see the defensive rankings of the teams they beat to this point. The issue is the data is end of year. For example, Burrow beat numbers 1 and 2 in the finals and SEC championship game. That would skew his numbers a little.
