I agree with you. All I am saying is that I think Hebert's comment is funny because until this year, Payton made boneheaded calls and got out-coached with some regularity.

I agree Payton has out thought him self on occasions in the past. He has had some clock management issues also.

He does not come off as mumbling idiot in front of the media though.

i.e. the inordinate number of times the pass rush comes up the middle uncontested ..

Payton has lost to many silly challenges too.Every coach gets out coached.
Not to these guys, they will never believe Nick Saban was ever outcoaches, in spite of Saban's fair record at Michigan and a terrible record at Miami.

It's his job to provide OBJECTIVE analysis when asked the question.

Every coach has questionable calls, I think if he could clarify or elaborate I think he would focus more on the outcoached in game management situations, not play calling.

Peyton also has Brees helping him make decisions...LSU doesn't have this luxury as any player in his right mind would've called a T.O.

Objective analysis is taking his shots at Mile's (and the coaching staff's) short coming AS WELL AS the o-line's, including his son. Yet, I don't here him saying, "You know, my son can block shite."

Take a hike pal. You bring Saban into a thread and then will probably bitch that LSU fans are discussing him. Typical idiot behavior, LOSER!

As for Hebert's statements, it is true every coach will be outcoached eventually. It is also true that Les Miles will be outcoached with more regularity than Sean Payton.

I edited out the over-reaction. But the sentiment is true.

first, Payton has been at the saints a few of years and as far as I can tell he has not won crap.

second, since bobby is being so brutally honest (doing his job) he should mention that the LSU OL is a piece of shite and can't block La. Tech, or ULL.

Third, bobby is a dumb arse for saying this because LM is doing him a huge favor by starting his son over Lonegan who is obviously better.

The small amount of respect I had for Hebert prior to last week, was lost this week.

Fanning the flames on national tv by a players dad is a bad thing. Doesn't he realize what this is doing for recruiting?

I still remember him as the Saints QB that flipped off his fans.

difference between miles and payton-- payton has developed into a very good HC while miles has done nothing but regress
