Its ESPN. Their play-by-play guys will literally miss the call on consecutive plays of their game to insert their "expert" opinion on a social issue, an inside joke concerning their fellow employees, or the performance of an athlete in a entirely different sport in an entirely different era.
Rece Davis breaking the rules of a "host" is chicken shite compared to what goes on in a live telecast at that network.

Gary Danielson has faded into the background, so they have to find another villain. It’s what LSU fans do.
Before Danielson it was Herbstreit. (Meanwhile Kirk has been a big backer of LSU most years, except when we sucked, rightfully so.)

RECE knows he let his Alabama bias show up last week. Even the other guys who actually don't care for LSU like Joey Galloway were mentioning that LSU would be in if they WIN OUT.
I have never bought into the fact that Kirk hates LSU like some LSU fans stated in the past. He will talk about LSU great all the time, but if he mentions one thing negative about LSU, Our fans freak out.
