quote from Miles in press conference, on Brandon Harris
I'm all in on Lindsey Scott. This is the year of the freshman quarterback. The kid is brilliant, got offers from Harvard

Did he say that in the press conference? Harris might be on a short leash.

he also said

"There are some calls we really like that we were just waiting to get to."

I'm not convinced that he would be better than Scott

But I don't know how far along he is

This is only the year of the freshman qb when you have a competent head coach instead of an idiot.

yes, he said he's considering giving etling some snaps this week but i guess that's not unlike any other time we play a scrub but he did say he hopes etling gets snaps not under the circumstance of trying to secure a victory.

Yep - that's what he said. He also indicated that Harris shows out at practice and in scrimmages but it just doesn't translate to Saturdays. That's the gist of what he was trying to say anyway.

Won't make a change, fact! Unless Harris throws 3 picks and we are losing in the second half he might, might!

Are you suggesting that Brady isn't as good as Mett?

It doesn't matter who the QB is. When is everyone going to realize this?

Etling couldn't cut it at Purdue, what's makes you think he can in this shite offense?

We need to start Harris off every game with easier short passes (screens, 5 yd hooks & outs, etc)

I keep seeing this or a variation of this. the system sucks but the greatest QB ever to play the game would make accurate throws. harris just cannot.

He overthrows them man. Look the offense is shite to me by design, but Harris is also to blame for every good ball he throws there are 5 WTF passes.

Yes it is
I agree to the extent that every now and again a player needs to step up and make a play. Harris has not done that despite being given multiple chances.

But this offense is truly so one dimensional that Harris gets very few easy plays to execute.

we run lateral passing drills like they are going out of style at practice, then we throw two routes.
