I thought this year was a easy playoff birth, or championship game appearance. Can't believe we lost 4 games.

No one would have believed before the season we'd have lost 4 games.

As long as we beat A&M, then there's some salvage to the season.

A lot of us, including me, we're saying playoffs or bust for Miles.

Team was loaded and experienced everywhere but LB. Having a 10-2 season felt like it would be a failure after going 9-3 (would have been 10-3 with you know what) the year before considering we were still inexperienced with Steele at DC and a first year starter at QB in Harris. We got continuity when all coaches came back and the majority us were insanely happy when we replaced Steele with Aranda.

It all went to shite so fast, you couldn't even blink. It's like Fournette hurting his ankle in fall practice was a bad omen.

I did because we still had miles. He had Mettenberger, Odell, Landry and Hill on the same team and found a way to lose 3 games.

I agree, but I just think back to how Les Miles screwed us- he promised to make changes and did nothing- flat out lied! Then, actually started Harris over Etling! How could he have not known Harris was not going to work out?? Then his failure to recruit proper O-lineman and sizable LB's. You already saw what happened when Beckwith went out- will be worse next year. Damn Les Miles!!

I would still be starting Harris. Etling is not good.

I thought we could lose 4 games. Miles was our coach remember? Only pumpers thought we'd win anything under him again

At least Etling is cool headed and not afraid to take a hit. Harris gets pressure and runs around like a little scared jackrabbit. Then throws it to the wrong color jersey. Now, if you could put Harris' arm on Etling, we'd have something.

This season was ruined when Les wasn't fired last year.

It would have been a frustrating year had Miles not desensitized me to LSU football since 1/9/12. The warning flags have been flying high for the past several years. Hopefully, as the administration goes through this hiring process, they are more sensitive to any warning signs moving ahead. Although with the fascination for Coach O, I am not sure we have learned our lesson.

A common fan delusion - the team had weak offensive line and quarterback talent. Defense was loaded, offense wasn't and the season shows that.

I collected this weekend on some "four loss" bets.

Too many of our fans overrate the talent, deluded by the "look at the NFL draft" argument. Overall team talent, rather than NFL draft choices, is the key and we didn't have it.
