Anyone know if they try and get him in the cage and stadium during the off season?

Yes. They do.

I believe they said on the segment that was on TV that he was getting in the cage before the season started.

How do they get him into his cage if they are taking him to the vet center for checkups and such? If he needed a medical procedure performed I'll bet they could get him into the trailer.

Yea, with a tranquilizer. It's pretty funny that this has become this big of an issue.

No. They used to cattle prod him to get into the cage. They don't do it anymore. I mean, c'mon, why would Mike VI or any Mike before that want to get in a tiny cage. For better or worse, that's why.

Solution: borrow a tiger from the zoo who will happily take a ride for some fresh steaks.

It's all BS. It is probably all true. The BS part is having a Mascot that does not go to the games. Get a new tiger, a new trailer, a new Vet, a new whatever. That is like having a hunting dog that won't hunt times 100,000.

Need to remember that "Rosco" came from a haven for "abused tigers" prior to becoming Mike. Granted, he was born to parents that resided there, but their dysfunctions passed on to him, and while the site was up, it also indicated that he was the product of an unintended pregnancy. How would you like it to be publicized that you mom hadn't intended to get knocked up with you, but forgot her diaphragm that night and paid the price. So the poor cat has some issues. Poor thing's head is probably still fricked up. Need a vet psychiatrist to get in on his care and script the critter something for his nerves.

That's a shame.

This is what people fail to understand. They are doing generally the same things they did with Mike V, but this Mike just isn't having it. Yeah it's sad but I love having Mike and being able to see him on campus.
