After the Florida game, I realized we are a damn good football team, barring BDP's atrocious special teams unit. Harris and LF7 are turning into an amazing tag team and our receivers are stepping up, and on defense our front 7 has really showed up. I couldn't be more proud to be a tiger fan right now, but it's annoying when you turn on ESPN and they are back on the Bama train and assuming they will win the SEC even after their terrible performance against Ole Miss. Just pissed that our boys who are undefeated and played their butts off are still being picked to lose to Bama.

I'm still waiting to learn from the experts here when CLM is putting in Jennings?

They said it was a done deal by now. Where are they?

Their coach is considered the gold standard by national sports media. Just how it is.

I like being in the underdog role.

I just watched 3 different people on ESPN pick LSU to be in the top 4 and make the playoffs.

We are good and are getting tons of respect. We dont deserve for the whole college football world to bow down before us because we beat one good team.

Well, when you lose four straight to Bama and Bama looks like a top 3 team, people are gonna doubt you.

Beat them and the respect will be shown.

Going by odds. LSU has the hardest remaining schedule in the country with the potential to play Florida again even if they win out.

exactly. Fine with me... Bama will be exposed

Underwhelming secondary (TAMU ran terrible routes and Kyle Allen isn't that good)
Meh O-line
Bad QB
Bad Special teams all around

and They want to say LSU is one dimensional

People recognize we're a good team, but Bama gets the benefit of the doubt based on recent history. Get that monkey off our back, and we'll get plenty of respect.

Beat Bama 3 Saturdays from now and they change their mind. You can't fault the media for giving them the edge right now given our question marks on defense and special teams PLUS the recent history.

The game is at Bama and as much as we don't like it, they have earned the benefit of the doubt lately. If LSU beats them, the Tigers will get plenty of love. LSU seems to be getting love now as well to be honest. Even Tony Barnhart( a well known Bama plus eastern division homer) said if Harris continues to play well LSU will be hard to beat. More media than not are projecting LSU in the playoffs.

Remember these guys pre season picks. How did that work for Johnson and Auburn, USC, etc. CheerWhine beat me to it and was less wordy.

Have you seen Bama play lately? They crushed UGA with a Chubb going the whole time, and they made A&M look like a Mountain West team.

I'm not saying that I think Bama will beat LSU, but I sure as hell am not ready to book my flight to Atlanta, either.

Bama looks like a very strong team.
While LSU looks strong a lot it is a team lacking consistency.
The meat of our schedule remains in front of us - not so with most of our competition

that is impressive, but for a 4 hour game they might want to contact their doctor about that...
