He made the necessary adjustment at the appropiate time to secure victory and capitilize on player morale. His unwillingness to do this in the past had me skeptical. It was a good game and well coached from the sidelines and excecuted well on the field. All you haters can STTDB!!!

And then in the 2nd half we went totally flat in the pass game.

Get back to work Les. You need to get the team prepared for State.

Things got away from him there in the 2nd quarter but he made some nice halftime adjustments and we got back to Les ball in the second half.

Congrats on the win Les. Try to smile a little more when you win. All of the posters here think your pissed off because of the success Etling had in the 2nd quarter.

I disagree. Etling made some good throws. One got called back for holding. There was the other good play, a little under thrown that Dupre didn't bring in, but the best part was Etling moving around in the pocket. He showed excellent poise in the pocket. That's a huge plus, even though there were no official completions in the 2nd half.

the coaching improved by getting the play in on time and dialing up some better plays.

i'm certainly not ready to anoint them for that. we did go from totally dysfunctional to decent to good execution and that's something.

and, don't forget, we greatly improved our math skills; we had all eleven guys on ST's.

Well said GrandDad... I agree with all this. Most on this board are misreable hacks that cant enjoy a win. They are too caught up in their preconceived notions to accept any improvement as a positive.
