Is he a great coach? I think that's debatable and still remains to be seen. But everyone that knows college football knows that Les Miles is a good coach, so I think that comment is just stupid and discounts your entire opinion from further discussion on this topic.
this is accurate Imo, time will tell

so did Coker.
Wow, none of us have ever heard this before. At least try to be original. And at least support your opinion with something beside a worn out analogy that doesn't bear much scrutiny.
There are superficial parallels- followed another coach who won the NC, etc., but some major differences- like HC experience at another school, personality, staffing hires, not to mention 40-3 beatdown by Miles of Coker and major beatdown of Tressel, and only coach in the Big 12 to not have a losing record to Stoops while Miles was in the Big 12.

Les just isnt a good coach, and dont say he is a good coach because he won a NC, so did Coker.
Les Beat Coker 40-3 and exposed the fact Coker couldn't maintain a championship program.
Coker won a NC his first year as head coach, while Miles won his NC in his third year at LSU--big difference.
Coker never recruited a QB, while Miles has stockpiled LSU with the most talent at QB in the history of LSU football.
Assuming you know what you are talking about, please tell us what units Les coaches?
Consideirng that Gary Crowton coaches the offense and Chavis coaches the defense, do tell how Mile's poor coaching will affect LSU?
Face it, your post is totally clueless.

don't start with the les and coker comparisons. coker's problem was he got lazy when it came to recruiting. you could see the huge difference in talent when he was fired.

but I think last year was a sign of things to come....Les just isnt a good coach, and dont say he is a good coach because he won a NC, so did Coker. I hope im wrong but i see a few more rough years before he is out and we can try to rebuild.

I'm tired of people saying he's not a good coach just because of last season and a few times they didn't like they play calling. Les has been doing a great job thus far and had one sub par season. I'm sure that not many people would argue that Joe Paterno is a great coach. If you look at Penn St's records for those two years (3-9 and 4-7) even a great coach has bad seasons. Give the guy a chance to rebound. IMO, one of the signs of a good coach are those that can rebound from a bad season. Give the guy a chance!

Jimbo said he took over play calling on the road
miles ran the ball up the middle when florida had 9 men in the box.
over and over again.
