1. Ben Simmons fiasco (beat Kentucky then disqualify ourselves from the NIT)
2. Police assault following Alton Sterling
3. Baton Rouge once in 1000 years type of flood event
4. Firing Les Miles
5. Lack of Florida game (forfeit)
6. Mike VI dies

Sadly, only one of these things was arguably a good thing. I just can't remember a year like this. If we beat Alabama, I will add that to the list.

Not sure what #2 has to do with LSU really, but you can't mention that without the murder of the 3 police officers in BR.

I guess I should say crazy for both LSU and Baton Rouge. It still got the community involved in some capacity regardless

2005 was a pretty nutty football season. And what LSU did that year really drives home how shitty Florida has acted.

2005 especially if you factor in 1/1/05 ending of capital one bowl.
Katrina
Rita
Saints games in TS
MNF. Blowing a 21 point lead.
Every game that season was dramatic.
Arizona St, Tenn, Florida, auburn, bama,
Arkansas
3 OT games

Its the same old sh... every year with LSU. The 'unity in a crisis' baloney. If there is no crisis, somebody creates one. Every season for the last decade the most important guy on the team gets kicked off the team at the start of the year.... Matthieu, Perrilloux, Hill, Jefferson.... It's always somebody. Last year it was Chavis. This year nobody could find anything wrong with Fournette, so the target was on Coach Miles. And the reason is because every male that grows up in Baton Rouge wants to be the QB for LSU, or the coach or the star player. And whoever that guy happens to be, people want his spot. So they become 'hypnotized with hatred'. That's just the way it is.

Not to mention Saban coaching in Tiger Stadium again. That was some wild shite, even though we sucked.

Pretty crazy alright. But LSU Programs like basketball, swimming and tennis love it crazy like this, it takes the spotlight off of their failing programs.

Who cares about basketball, swimming or tennis with all that is going on right now.
