Yes -> LINK

A major research accomplishment: BREAKING: An LSU-led team has won an @NSF “Engines Grant.” It is the largest, most competitive grant ever awarded by the foundation.

This transformational $160 million grant will support Louisiana’s energy industry and workers.

I get it that’s big news and all but come on. Don’t say “we build championship teams” for something that’s not even sports related. They baited people into thinking it was athletics related.

Just say big announcement for LSU and leave it at that.

Yes. Dale Brown will be rehired as HC and will bring on Bob Starkey so he can re-establish the Hiawassee CC pipeline.

No they didn’t. It was pointed out in the thread that it wasn’t going to be related to athletics and that the school had been using a teams/winning/championship themed campaign for non sports accomplishments for some time.

Because most wouldn’t even bat at eye at it. Make it sound sports related and now you generate attention.

If they build a new building for this, Gameday parking will be even more OOC.

They go hand in hand whether you want to believe or not, just about anything that is good for one benefits the other. Most of the time.

Sounds like they’re biting off of Alabama. “Where legends are made”
