Went to get a coke..my seat disappeared while I was gone. Seats are the size of a textbook.
Oh and Rocky top will always be, hot orange pee, to me. Piss on rocky top. Piss on Tennessee "

I have enjoyed my road trips to Knoxville, but it certainly wasn't because of the stadium. Neyland Stadium is awful. There's not a good seat in that whole monstrosity. I can't even imagine that the home crowd's seats are good.

I would especially steer clear of a 50 yd line, row 1 seat if you care to see the game at all.

Horrible place to watch a game. But I'm also going. I've been a few times including 89 and 06. The seats don't fit my arse and I'm not that big.

Do y'all suggest waiting to get tickets? I don't see anymore on Lsu's site and the stubhub, seatgeek, etc tickets are high as hell right now. $200 for lower bowl and $120 for nose bleeds

Yes
I sat low in visitor's section by the goal line.
Good seats.
Seats are very cramped.

It's a ridiculous looking stadium

Honestly one of the best game atmospheres I've ever been to (been to all SEC schools save LSU

Looks like it's time for you to make it to Tiger Stadium.

If you stay at one of the hotels in the stadium area such as holiday inn, crown plaza they have buses to take their guest to the stadium. I was told the owners of the crown plaza in Knoxville also own the one in Baton Rouge.

I have been to Neyland several times but they usually put me in the Bob Ueker seats. Two stadiums with seats made for very small behinds: Tennessee and Notre Dame.

It's a nice game day atmosphere, but I disagree that it gets very loud. For the size of stadium that Neyland is, it's not all that loud.

How many times have you been?

And it wasn't that loud for us in 09, but in 13 and 15 it was impressive.

. I don't know anything about the lower bowl but that's where my tickets will be this time.

Seat widths are the same for all bleacher seats (17-18" width, I think). There are some sections that have seat backs on them that give you more room. These are in the box sections, and in the newest addition in the North end zone Upper Deck.

Went to the Jarmarcus Russel game there. Tailgating was great, atmosphere was awesome, but that stadium is shite. It looks like a giant aluminum high school stadium.

They pack you in like sardines in that MOFO. If you are taller than 5' prepare to have your knees in someones back and knees in your back the whole time.

Went in 2001.
Great experience outside. The people were great.
Stadium was not that loud like they say........and dont you dare be the last on the row to sit down.........because your seat will be gone. If you are under 10 years old, you butt will fit.

Also........get ready to hear Rocky Top(woooooo) about 10,000 times. Its bad.

I went in 2006. Sat in end zone, saw the game winning play right in front of me. I enjoyed the atmosphere. I went with UT friends and tailgated with them. Vol fans were friendly. It is a big stadium, but doesn't seem as loud as Tiger Stadium. Seats are cramped, and Rocky Top is obnoxious, but I would go back.
