IMO, this was the most impressive part of his play on Sat. He threw it on a rope and accurate [really reminiscent of Mett ) LF7 will keep the safeties close to the LOS, CBs will give our WRs a good cushion especially since all of them have big time speed as well. This will be open all day and if he can make this throw consistently, we will be tough to beat.

100% agree. Too me outs are the best way to utilize the passing game to pick up 5-10 yards and set up the big play. It seems like in the recent past we only throw screens or long ball. Adding a steady dose of outs into the game plan will make a big difference across the board. It's all timing play and if they commit to perfecting it in practice, it's tough to stop.

I noticed that at the game too. Said the same thing when Mett was throwing out routes on a dime from the opposite hash. It's an NFL caliber throw

If we can run that play successfully on a consistent basis And CBs cheating up on it it will make the out and up play work as well

Not to be negative, but that's what Dak did to us in the 4th quarter at MSU which is how they hung onto the ball and marched down the field.

Quinn was wide open on the same route that play.

They're also the best way to throw a pick 6. Doubt you'll see too many out routes this year.

Then say what you mean. I follow LSU sports and misunderstood the entire comment.

And it's been longer than 10 years since Rohan was at LSU. He was at LSU when I was living in ATL. 1998-2001

if timing is off or QB makes wrong read. pretty much the case with most plays. way to point out the obvious.

TD pass more impressive, had to fit it into a small window, on the move.

The (dropped) pass he threw to Dupre rolling to his right was by far his most impressive throw.

The passing game is there, CLM and CC will expand the system slowly. I see it opening up on FLA and Bama.

Maybe but it is not a throw u need to make several times a game. The 10 YARD stop will be open all game as long as LF7 is playing well. It's the perfect early down pass play bc it's relatively low risk and given the prowess of LF and our OL it will be open a ton.

Nah,.....Jennings can make the throw you are referring to. The 35 yard dart on the run is what will keep opponents from stacking 8 or 9 in the box and run blitzes.
