So in order to make a player feel better we should start and play him despite how badly he plays...just so he wont potentially leave?

Are you people serious with this bullshite?

Are you serious? That's not what I'm saying at all. Nothing wrong with a healthy qb competition, and it was and still is completely necessary for the next few years. But to boo a kid before he takes a snap, because he had one bad game and we want to see a freshmen, at the fricking new mexico state game is just bullshite. We aren't going to lose that game, just let the situation play out.

In other words, no, you don't have to start the he kid to help his confidence, but don't boo him in a meaningless game , which will only hurt his confidence.

Do you think we win the Wisky game with Harris?

I'm sure you think the answer to this is "no" but you really have no idea how prepared Harris might've been had Miles not freaking committed to a guy with half his talent and therefore, focused the #1 reps in practice on that guy

Im not talking about booing, and neither were you.

You and the rest of the Miles clowns were talking about PLAYING TIME.

can you provide a link to backup this claim of yours that Harris wasn't getting a shot in practice?

As the head coach, and the one who decides what QB to start...

you couldnt be more wrong. It's been a tough week for you hasn't it?

I need to provide you a link to the fact the the starter for an upcoming game gets most, if not all of the reps with the number 1s? I mean, that's only the case on every football team on the planet. So, there's that.

I re-scanned the thread, no one mentioned playing time...

you seem exceptionally upset. you should probably go back to the Poli Board because you're making a complete arse of yourself over here

One last thing, if Jennings bolts after this year, we are in huge trouble, and after the way he was treated in TS Saturday, I wouldn't blame him for a second.

That's my first post in this thread you dipshit. And by "the way he was treated," I was not referring to the coaches. And every post since that one would indicate that is what I meant. And by calling me a "Miles clown," I think you confirmed I wasn't talking about how he was treated by coaches.

I never condone booing players, but what happened on Saturday was beyond anything I have seen, and I'm honestly embarrassed. Kid didn't even have a chance. And some of you day Jennings has no experience in a hostile SEC environment; if that wasn't a gut check, I don't know what was.

As I told your little gal pal Beefense....I'm happy when LSU wins. I dont need certain players to do well so Miles looks good to make LSU winning fun. I dont carry that baggage that you do.

even you said it yourself that you want harris to start

isn't that admitting even just a little bit that miles made the wrong decision at QB?

I think sending jennings out there after a fumble, a pick, and another pick just about killed his confidence off completely. it's the same way miles kept sending lee out there in 2008 after tossing 16 picks in 8 games he played in.

a real competition. I don't think jennings earned the job. i think it was given to him because he had more time in the system and had one start in a bowl game under his belt.

the talent gap is enormous from what we've seen from the two qb's
