Get over myself? Do you not think we are screwed if Harris and McMillan are our only QBs? We haven't even signed McMillan yet, and we certainly aren't taking anyone else at this point to scare off 2016 guys.

We play NMSU, and we try and boo our QB off the field before he takes a snap. That's an embarrassment.

Ummm, yes we do.

We need both of those kids this entire year.

Good god.

Kinda all we can go on...Are you saying he would have lit it up in the next series? If you see a true freshman have 3 snaps like that, are you really going to keep him in there in a game of that magnitude?

And we're going to have both of them. AJ isn't going anywhere, and to start speculation that he might or state that he should leave because of some booing (which I agree is wrong and I don't do) is irresponsible.

Literally no, we do not. Miss st has to lose two. Which is probable because I don't think they're as good as some here make them out to be. But if we don't win our division we don't go to a playoff.

OK, so we leave absolutely no margin for error, in any given year; we have to win every division game.

I don't see how you even enjoy being a fan if you don't believe we get into the playoff after one September loss. Keep up with wisky, that will be a high quality win come December.

True. I think his point is to make all those who boo that their actions could have consequences.

Yep. The GLARING talent gap between these two should have meant that they just gave Harris as many damned reps in practice as possible and stop the freaking charade.

terrible topic opener

If the coaching staff saw this kind was kinda gamer, he would have started. They didn't because theres only been 4 games! And he's a freshman, Les is gonna give the senior (even though it's 1 year) every opportunity to have the job. The process had to run it's course. Now your seeing it. Hell this kid might even have trouble handling the pressure of being the starter. Alot of guys excel in a mop up role....lower expectation and no pregame nerves. If, and if he starts this week, the staff (and fans) will have more of the puzzle pieces necessary answer this mystery. Unfortunately with Les he's very stubborn and it may not be until next year that we really know the true potential of this team. Let's hope they can make a run at it with a clean slate and a few more d-lineman to solidify this defense

Harris wasn't going to win us the Wisconsin game, and might not have gotten the job done against state.

So in order to make a player feel better we should start and play him despite how badly he plays...just so he wont potentially leave?

Are you people serious with this bullshite?

You can't look merely at the Wisky performance of Harris when talking about this. The reality is, if Miles had noted the OBVIOUS talent gap, Harris would've been getting starter reps in practice for a long time. Instead, in game 1, you got the combination of him being a pure freshman with the fact that he also was not getting as many practice reps because we were going with a guy who possessed no better than half of Harris' talent.

The REAL failure this year is in the fact that in all likelihood, we ran off our 2nd best QB because of Miles' commitment to the "experienced" guy being higher on the depth chart.

It wasn't me who started the speciation, that was the folks that wanted him to fail before the season started and have booed him 2 weeks in a row on his home field. It was over the line, and people hate on this kid despite him being responsible for some big wins for our program.

You would have thought we were 0-4 and finished last season with 2 losses with the situation in that stadium on Saturday.

I totally agree. I'd like to smack the booers but it wouldn't do any good.

saying you think BH is better doesnt mean you wanted AJ to fail.

Are you really having that much difficulty with such simple concepts?

Who are you referring to? I would've loved to see Jennings light it the F up from the outset. Harris aint my buddy.

the reality is that Miles doesn't want to run "check with me" and that is all he's comfortable with doing with Harris right now. Unfortunately, Jennings isn't effective in the base scheme, so he has a tough decision to make.

yes. I think we would have.

We would have won MSU too.
